I'm rather curious to see how the desert setting works out. The teaser makes me think Road Warrior with zombies.

I'm rather curious to see how the desert setting works out. The teaser makes me think Road Warrior with zombies.

That's a good way of looking at it. I was kind of iffy about the desert setting at first.

I'm looking forward to it, although I think some of the characters are miscast. Like Ali Larter for Claire. mad I love Claire and I don't feel Larter will do her justice.

I highly doubt it. Anderson may have bought the IP for Resident Evil, but Capcom didn't give him anything aside from the RIGHTS, which means he knows as much about RE5 as we do. I mean, it's possible that he liked the idea of a dessert setting when he saw the trailer for RE5, but I doubt that too, because I would assume that the planning for the movie started long before RE5 trailer came out.

It's still possible that we'll see some of the "fear in daylight" stuff play out in the movie. I saw an interview where one of the actors said this one had the best script in his opinion and that it will be more of an adventure movie. Not so sure that adventure is a good thing.

Adventure over horror worked for Resident Evil 4.

I'm mad Jill quit >.< I liked her...besides Sienna Guillory made a really good Jill ^^ But I like Claire the best so...I hope Ali Larter does her part well....and if not..... twisted

I'm excited, but a little iffy. The desert setting puts me off a little. But I'm glad to see Claire come in now, if only they'd put Chris in there too.
