I first joined Gaia only a month or so after the place was created and during the first Easter here I got some bunny slippers. Soon after a bunch of the people here told me to leave because they hated me being so openly gay and didn't like the fact that I was a guest as several conventions. So I left with no intent on returning.
Years later Kim moves in and starts an account here and I gave her my bunny slippers. People kept asking me for them over the years, but I never gave them up and now that she has them she is not willing to give them up either, because they are from me.
Well, today, out of curiousity, she looked up the market value for those slippers and they are going for 30 million. Do you think she is giving them up? Nope, She is going to keep them, because they were a gift from me. *grins* I know they are just digital slippers but I find something special about that fact.
Just wanted to share.

Yeah, I read somewhere around that some items gain value with the time, so something from the past year is more expensive that some new item.. It's amusing, isn't it?.. XD..

That is cute. ^^ It's nice that she's going to hold to them. I bet nobody else would be able to appreciate them as much, digital or not. 3nodding

Hell I could have told you that they were worth a *Screams* BOAT LOAD!!! the first Time I saw her avi I was wondering how in the hell she came to get those not having been a member for all THAT long, I saw them and thought...."wait...are those the....jeez!" then went about my buisness
It Seriously would not be worth selling an item like that, They are like the Halo, very rare not to mention having been given as a gift, all that kinda makes thoses particular pixels priceless!

xD I was also wondering how she got those.
I tried winning the chicky slippers in a contest someone was holding, but she ended up keeping them. ;-;
