There was nothing in the episode to indicate that Linderman is a nice little old man. He offered information, but I imagine that will come at a cost. He is still a man involved in the mob, that isn't exactly the makings for a nice fellow. There was a subtlety to what he said, which I think may have escaped some peoples notice. Don't sell this character short.

I liked the revealing of Nathan's true intentions. It really showed a lot of about the integrity of his character.

Finally Hiro gets the sword, and wow, the city still went boom. That struck me as very interesting. Perhaps the explosion is inevitable. Maybe there is still time to change the future.

Sylar was very interesting this episode. His little speech to Mohinder, confirmed a lot of suspicions I had about the nature of his character. Also the fight between Sylar and Peter is going to be awesome I hope. It shows how Peter gets the scar, the one future Hiro mentioned. So I am guessing Peter comes out of this fight alive, but not so well. Mohinder will hopefully live as well.

Nikki is getting strong enough to overthrow Jessica, at times. Which means she has a chance to overcome Jessica before the end of the season.

Also Mr. Bennett is in big trouble, big trouble.

And Claire, well now she knows she is related to the Petrelli family. There is likely a lot to find out here.

All in all a good episode, as far as I am concerned. There is lot to discuss, and a lot revealed. But not so much that people can't question things. It's all good to me.

Peter's vision is a premonition of what COULD happen. Not necessarily what will happen.

Now however, like yourself I do think the explosion will most likely happen. But I don't think it's a gurantee. Basically I just don't think Peter's visions are written in stone.
Now maybe the new girl is pretending to be Simone, but I have my doubts. There are a few odd things about Peter's vision. For instance Matt is in the vision wearing his cop uniform, but he is suspended from the force, as well he is now captured by the organization Mr. Bennett works for.
Also Claire is on the run per say. So why is she wearing her Cheerleader outfit in the vision? Obviously she isn't going to have time or opportunity to head back home, change and then head to NY.
Also in Peter's vision he has no scar on his head from Sylar, and has long hair. We now know his hair was cut when Sylar attacks him at Mohinder's apartment.
I think people need to stop reading Peter's vision literally, and realise there are inconsistencies. There is no guarantee things will turn out exactly the way Peter invisioned it.

Well, for one, the future is going to HAVE to change. Simone is quite dead, as confirmed by the actress herself, and yet she appeared in his vision. Either he gets the ability to see the dead... or the future has already changed. And personally, I really don't think it's PETER we're seeing as the exploding man, I think he's seeing through somebody else. smile

Doesn't Peter have the ability to recover from injuries like that instantly and without scratches or scarring??? The fight's going to be awesome, but they're not going to be able to kill off either one of them. They're too deliciously good characters ^_^ And Mohindr looked like he was on his second going of going, going, gone!

Hiro got the sword!!!! YAY!!!! Or, as he said, やた! ^_^ The city still went boom in the vision he saw, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it WILL go boom in the future episodes we are going to follow smile

Mr. Bennet is probably going to get his a** kicked. I don't think he's going to die though... take a look at Lynz's screenshots (THANK YOU!!! heart ), when she has brown hair. That guy DEFINATELY looks like HRG, profile view smile I'm so excited for her to know about the Petrelli family... who knew Grandma was bilingual too?! OMG that's so cool!!! XD
