I believe you burn about 1,300-1,400 calories each day just doing daily things like walking to the kitchen, going down/up stairs, or even wiggling your foot. Of course, that number will go down or up depending on your age/height/weight/health and how active you are (whether you're sedentary, move around a little, or move around a lot).
I have an account on fitday.com and it tells me that, with my semi-active lifestyle, I burn around 1,400 calories per day just doing things I don't even realize I'm doing because they're so reflexive. :3 You need to burn 3,500 calories to lose a pound of fat (or at least, that's what I've heard).
Hopefully this has helped / will help you get a better grasp of how many calories you should burn daily. 3nodding

Well, I did a whole fitness assesment a few weeks ago, and it told me that my body will burn just over 1700 calories a day, just on its own doing seemingly nothing. Personally, I had no idea it was that high, but my trainer told me it was fairly average.

If you burn 500 calories a day without eating, you'd lose a pound or two in a week. 3,500 calories = 1 pound I'm not advising you to not eat.
So, if you're burning 600 calories a day, You can eat 100 calories of food a day. If that's too little, work out more, But working out more can be exhausting.
