Gharadi stretched his forelegs, letting his rather cramped muscles be soothed and easy to move again. He'd been wandering more and more each day, farther from his mother yes, but he kept going back at the end of each day it seemed. He loved his mother, but he was older now, he looked at his reflection in a clear crisp puddle, a mirror image of him. His mane was growing more now, it was creeping down his neck more, fell over his eyes a bit, but a smile was on his maw.
He was growing up.
He pondered going back "home" to see his sister, but out here, it was different, though he did miss "home." But his mother was out here, and she meant a lot to Gharadi, so did his friends. He missed them greatly, he wished for them to be in one spot, he wanted to start new things, see more places, not have friends have to depart so soon.
He wanted to stray away.
He wondered if others strayed too...or at least longer to.

Wandering had become acustomed for the adult lioness. She hadn't known her parents, and she hadn't seen her adopted 'father' Athrun in a while now... She streched lazily, gazing at her relection in a watering hole. Azure eyes flickered in the light and Monifa glanced from side to side before bending down to take a drink.
She had grown. Usually, the lioness wasn't one to notice things like this, but she couldn't really help it. Idly, she swept one paw across the top of the water, tail flicking back and forth behind her.
A light sigh rose from her maw and her eyes drited towards the sky. She couldn't help to almost feel bored at times though. How she longed for company, and not just someone that would stay or a day then leave, but actual, nice... company.
Closing her eyes and shaking her head lightly, Monifa turned and walked away from the watering hole, paws brushing against the grass, steps soft.

Gharadi's mind was shuffling, swirling with thoughts, of what he could do, what he wanted to do, even possibly should do. He wanted so many things, he just wish they were all possible, that everything he wanted, could just be perfect, and nothing would need to change, nothing would have to change. He peered up at the sky, as if expecting an answer from somewhere, a cloud, the sun, somewhere, hoping something would give him an answer, give him a hint of what he had to do.
Then something white and gray flickered in the corner of his eyes.
He stopped, and turned his eyes to settle on a moving figure, he heard no steps, felt no vibration from the steps of the stranger. Hmm, who were they? Curiosity got the best of him, so he pressed further, only when he got closer did he see that this "stranger" was a female, and one that was alone...older then he but...alone.
He frowned slightly, only for a moment...he hated seeing others alone.
Even if he was alone constantly sometimes.
"Hello..." he said softly, soft enough to not startle her, he didn't want her to think that he was a threat, for of course, he was not.
