Moogle Time mages or Human Illusionists. I know they are weak, but its funnier when you can kill the other side with a hasted Illusionist. They cast spells like its nothing. xd

I know what you mean, I mostly use the red mage but I like to use the blue a lot too. Like I said on another thread, it would be awesome if Ritz could be a be both a red and blue mage. Can you imagine it? Casting a blue spell twice would be really useful. I like time mages too and even though I use black or white mages, I only use them ocassionally. I like to use a black mage only when there are certain enemies that have resistance to a certain element so I can make good use of the "Geomancy" ability. And whenever I use a white mage, it's only cuz I don't have my blue mage or summoner available. I do use the white mage abilities on certain characters but only when laws restrict other jobs or whatnot. So yeah, Red Mages are definitely my favorite; with Blue Mages being a close second.

Red Mages, definately. They're fast and have a whole array of magic at their disposal. They can pass for your Black Mage AND your White Mage. And DoubleCast is probably the best spell out there. Plus, if your Red Mage has Elementalist abilities or Summoner abilities, then you get twice the power! I love Time Mages too, Haste and Quicken rule! And Demi can easily be very useful. ^_^ I remember how happy I was when I made Montblac a Time Mage, he was soooo cool (he was my first Time Mage).

It's kinda sad that nobody has chosen the blue mage as their favorite. Oh well... It's too bad the red mages get the weakest black mage spells but I guess it's understandable cuz of double cast. Imagin if you could cast thundaga twice in one turn... OMG! Ritz could have done this if they had given her both Viera and human jobs. *drools like Homer Simpson*

Oh man, I would have done anything for that. Still, I think that doublecasting summonrs would be more useful. Now, a doublecasting Sae would have just been plain scary...

If Ritza had the jobs of a human, she could have also been able to cast "haste" twice or even doublecast illusionist spells. I've seen some illusionists that deal a lot of damage (but their speed is quite low). Now that sounds scary too... But yeah, double casting ultima blow or some other sage ability sounds awesomely nasty. stare

Oh, I was thinking of doublecasting Raise. You could heal your entire party in one turn. That would be reason enough for me to use it.

Oh yeah, it'd be like using unicorn and heal in the same turn. Too bad you can't have white mage and summoner abilities while being a red mage. Say, I just imagined Ritz being a thief... Man! Stealing double cast from other vieras would be so cool! Not to mention that it would be so much faster to have her achieve master in all her jobs. BTW, not that you fellows need to know or anything, I just wanna share with all of you that all the humans in my party have learned both Goblin Punch and Dragon Force. Just in the nick of time too as I have captured both of those monsters and they have officially gotten extinct in my current file. I finished "A Dragon's Aid" a while ago so... Say, wanna know a way you can learn "Goblin Punch" at any time? Just do the joint mission called "Newbie Hunt" with a friend and get the goblins in there to use it on you. Voila! You got Goblin Punch. 3nodding I got my friend to use his beastmaster while I used two uf my human characters in that fight.

He-he, well, I just thought of it after seeing that the goblins in "Newbie Hunt" had that ability. Then I wondered if anyone could learn it cuz, the goblins in it seemed rather normal. True, you can't catch any of them but at least you can learn their ability. 3nodding And yes, it's awesome to have someone to trade and play with. biggrin

Really? Well, that's ok. I also went a couple of months (if not more) without picking the game up. I can't remember when it was that I continued playing...
