Plot: Yami has been obsessing over his past ever since he started to get clues as to how to gain his memories back. time and time again, he will take control of yugis body to go to the museum, hoping for some merical to allow him his memory.
one day his wish was granted...sort of.
though, instead of Yami learning his past, its yugi. The tablet took yugi's soul into the past, not yamis.
now yugi has the chance to find out who Yami really is.
will Yugi hate what he sees or will he fall in love with the pharaoh all over again?

It was the third time this week it happened. Yami took over yugi's body right after school and rushed over to the museum, dissappearing before any of yugis friends could say anything.
He knew this bothered yugi, but he wanted to know about his past. he wanted to know about his father. he wanted to know why he felt such a connection to his dark magican. was it really so bad to want to know who he really was?
'sorry, love...i promise i wont be long.'
he thought to himself, hoping yugi would understand. he ran into the museum, finding the tablet with ease considering the fact he had been there a dozen times. he looked down at his puzzle and sighed.
"i just want to know who i am..."
he muttered

Once again Yami had taken control of Yugi's body without the boy's consent. NOt that it really mattered he would've allowed the other to do anything to him as ir were but it was starting to grow slightly irksome to him. The sudden transisition from being within his own body to being put in the soulroom had been knocking him out of late so he remained there out cold a few moment before he awoke.
As he came too he easily assertained where they were; the museum for the third time was it now? He knew the other was eager to know everything Yugi was just as eager to help his partner obtain the information that he wanted. The secret to his forgotten past. He stood there looking at the tablet through Yami's eyes and he sighed a bit.
::I wish there was an easier way for you to find out the entire truth.::
He said across their bond, his anger at being booted from his body melting away as it had the otehr times.
::If only the tablet could tell us more....::

yami smiled lightly when he heard yugis voice in his mind, and he could feel the others aggravation. he couldn't really blame him, yami was being a bit selfish, but he couldn't help it.
:::sorry yugi...:::
he muttered. each time he came back to the muesum, he was sure that he thought he saw something new on it from the day before, but whenever he came back he realized that he had just imagined it. it made him feel ashamed of himself for kicking yugi out of his own body for no reason.
:::..do you think im obsessing too much over this, love?:::
he asked as he held his sennen puzzle.
:::i keep getting a feeling from the puzzle, though, that something is going to happen...:::

::Nothing to be sorry about you just want to find out about the past and you know that there's something in this tablet that's going to point you in the right direction. I can't fault you for that really since I want you to know about your past just as much as you do.::
The smaller boy appeared beside him and looked at the massive amount of stone and sighed.
::If only it told us more we might have a chance at finding things out about your past sooner. And no you're not obsessing over it. You don't know who you really are and this has been the first clue in a while so it's only natural that you would want to keep looking::

yami sighed and looked at the tablet. nothing new would happen today, and he was about to give yugi his body back when his puzzle lit up on its own.
"what's going on...?"
he muttered before the image of yugi beside him was taken back inside the pyrimide hanging from his neck.
"yugi?"
he asked before the tablet lit up in front of him, blinding him.
"i can't see..."
he complained before he felt an unexplainable wind start to pick him up a bit. he felt something tugging inside of him, being taken out of him, and before he knew it he saw yugi in front of him being taken into the tablet.
"YUGI!"
he yelled after him before everything stopped. the tablet and puzzle calmed down and yami was left standing there feeling empty. he fell onto his hands and knees trying to catch his breath.
'where's my Aibou?'
he thought to himself.
'i can't sense him anywhere....'

Yugi was about to say something more but the bright light from the Puzzle blinded him and tunred his words to a whimper of pain at the intense light as he covered his eyes. It was the oddest sensation being ripped from the Puzzle and into the nothingness of the shadows...
...When Yugi woke he was groggy and he had no idea where he was. But there were weird sounds that he wasn't used to. He could move though so he just lay there looking up at the sky....?
...the sky....?
Hadn't he been inside?

the crowd around Yugi were whispering about rumors that the pharaoh might be coming out today for some reason. perhaps some military thing or what not. no one ever knew, but it would be a chance to see their king in person.
the sound of a bouncing ball came towards yugi before hitting him in the head where he lay.
"sorry mister."
a little girl said before running to retreive the ball. she looked yugi over and giggled a little.
"you dress funny."
she said before a boy behind her called for the girl and she ran off

Yugi blinked as the ball hit him. If they said he dressed funny....
...where the hell was he?
He slowly got up and looked about. This was certainly not domino. It looked like...
....Egypt?
But how could that be.

people around the market place stopped what they were doing when they saw the priest mahado and seth on horse back with a dozen gaurds on foot behind them. as the two passed by, everyone of them bowed in respect.
"seth, place some of your men at the entrance of the city gates. if the rumors are true, we will eventually get him. Bakura wont get away this time."
he ordered the other before the blue eyes brunette ordered some of his ment to take post at the front gate.
"mahado, you know very well that wont work..."
a strong voice came from behind them on horse back as well. the pharaoh rode up behind them earning himself a few mutters from the crowds and deeper bows.
"pharaoh, this isn't the time."
mahado interjected.
"listen, Bakura is strong, he will whipe out your men. is this very wise? we should be on the look out. we at least have the ability to hold our own against him."
mahado started to argue back at him a bit, but a feeling caught his attention, making him block out mahado.
'..somethings here...'
he thought to himself.

Yugi was silent when he heard them and he pressed himself against the alley wall. He couldn't really see anything though but the voices -they sounded familiar to him.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned Thief was out adn about. Point of fact he wasn't too far from where Yugi was. He was just waiting though, enjoying leading the pharaoh and his pathetic priests on a chase.

mahado asked as the smaller pharaoh looked around for something he didn't even know himself.
"something is here...not bakura, but somthing else..."
he muttered as he started to look around.

Yugi had no clue what they were talking about but wasn't that....Yami's voice?
The thief laughed to himself. Foolish pharaoh being out like this. bakura could easily take him out if he wanted too. Then he noticed Yugi and his eyes widened...someone who looked like the pharaoh....interesting.

yami thought for a moment. he power he felt was familar to him, but he couldn't think of how. after a moment his puzzle lit up and he realized what that was.
"theres a millennium item around."
he said sounding startled.
"how can that be pharaoh, we priests have them all, and you have the puzzle. there aren't any more items."
mahado asked, confused.
"i know, but i sense one around. its powers matching my puzzle."
he muttered as he jumped from his horse and wondered towards the power he felt.
"pharaoh, don't be foolish."
seth called after, but atem just ignored it.

The Puzzle....Yugi looked down and noticed he was wearing it and he gasped. He moved back into the alleyway a bit more, he didn't want to cause any trouble after all.
Just then Bakura jumped infront of the pharaoh.
Heh, look who we have here. Taking a stroll are we?
