Today I tried buying a lighter at the closest gas station to my house. Nope. They wouldn't let me because I'm not 18. I didn't think that you had to be 18? I've bought them at other places without any questions...maybe they were supposed to card me?...

I actually have no idea. I've never had a problem buying them, and I've bought then since I was like... 13 for one reason or another.

Eh, I made friends with the Morrocans [NOT IRAQIS] that work at the local sev. They give me anything I want 'cause they know I won't let anyone ******** with that store, so Ive never had a problem with that.

They prob did that since they upped smoking cigs to 19, and are trying to keep less kids from smoking.

Around here, some places card and some don't. I don't think it's a legal requirement, more like the store's standards. I don't get carded at most stores in the mall, but I do get carded at most gas stations and Spencer's.

most places i've been will ID for lighters, even the dollar store.
What I was suprised at is being offered a free pack of matches when I buiy cigarettes now!

They're passing all this ******** smoking ban bullshit in Maryland. You know ******** you. Seriously, they're getting rediculous. They're trying to ban smoking on the street. As in, it would be illegal to smoke while walking down the ******** that. If I want to smoke while I'm taking a walk, I'm going to ******** smoke my cigarette while I'm taking a walk. Seriously, if there has ever been a decent use for the word "******," it's to describe the ******** shrivs we have running this joint. They give me the ******** shits...

I'd also like to point out before you jump on my a**...
I believe in the separation between niggers and black people. I have simply known many many more niggers than I have black people, and I call them such. I use the word ****** a lot. Am I racist? Only against niggers. I have no problem with African Americans, if you want to get politically correct, if they are decent people. If they're niggers.... well, then they're niggers. Plain and simple.

and its electric. :C -blush-
but yeah. go to a different place. people who inforce that are dumb. say you need to light candles. for your friends funeral. then they'll give you a lighter. ;o

Nobody has ever carded me at walmart for a lighter o.o
then again, people say I look older than I am. xD
edit: I bought a lighter at the gas station the other day. The guy looks at me and says, "Are you 18?" I'm like "Yeah" he's like "Ok, no need to card you then."
that defeats the whole purpose, eh?.... xd
