*Dio closed his laptop, and stood silently in front of the fox spirit for several moments seemingly sizing him up. He took note in the way Kyrai presented himself He studied his body language and examined all the small details. He finally opened his mouth to speak.*

"I can tell that your slightly fed up with this situation, so let me explain a few things to you that my ease your mind. I am part of an organization of men and women who were enlisted to keep order in the time-space continuum."

*dio digs around in his shirt and removes another cigarette, which instantly lights itself. He places the self-lighting cigarette in between his lips and takes a quick drag off of his cigarette and releases the smoke out his nose. He then grasps the cigarette firmly between his forefingers and continues on with his explination.*

"To be completely straight-forward, which I can tell is the kind of person that you are.....I have been sent here to baby-sit you and you comrades, and don't tell me that you don't need it. I've been spending the last few weeks examining you and studying your actions, and it's obvious that something is going to go wrong. If you don't believe, let me lay this down on you. Ready? You keep to yourself because you don't want the others to know that you care. Your put on the "cold-hearted loner" front to shy away those who you might become emotionally attached with. Did I hit the nail on the head?"

*Dio took another puff on his cigarette and waited for Kyrai's response.*

*Dio shook his head*

"Cool your jets Fox, we don't need to be focusing on fighting right now. What we need to worry about is that you and your "friends" or whatever you want to call them, are going to have a direct impact on the course of things to come. And what you do and how you plan to take care of it are my main concerns. And just an FYI, I'm perfectly capable of handling any little twerp who poses somewhat of a threat."

*Dio pointed the fingers that were holding the cigarette at Kyrai. Cigarette smoke drifted slowly from the cherry and was caught in the breeze working its way into the ozone.*

*Dio sighed and smothered the cherry of his cigarette between his fingers then tossed the remains in the waste container behind him.*

"Hold up, I'm getting to that. The reason I've been studying your emotions, your recourse to certain actions, and your day to day life-style, is because it's been chronicled that YOU Fox, will be the downfall of this time-line. You will destroy everything. Now the problem lies in the lack of the knowledge of how you partake in the destruction of this realm. That is why I've been sent here. To investigate potential reasons as to why this time-line was destroyed, and to why we have no knowledge of as to how it happened."

*Dio pulled out his laptop once again and held it in one hand while he used the other to type and use other functions. He then turned his attention away from the laptop and looked to Kyrai*

"Well don't give yourself all the credit. Think of it as more of a domino effect, you were just the first domino that brought all the rest down."

*Dio shrugs and places a wry smile across his face.*

"Well sorry to burst your bubble, but think of it this way: At least your not the complete cause of everyone's deaths, including that green-haired bombshell. Nice pick by the way.

*Dio winks at Kyrai.*

"Ya know if things don't work out between you two, you know where to send her.

*Dio notices Kyrai's reaction to his comment and then quickly changed the topic.*

"As of now, I just want you to go on with things as you normally would. Until I can figure out the cause of the inccident, which HQ has dubbed "End Scenario."

*Dio shuts his laptop and a look of concern appears across his face.*

"You see Fox, this is far more serious than just the destruction of this time-line. Each realm's exsistance is based upon the structure of the next one, thus creating a web of intertwined timelines all dependant on the exsistance of the next one. So you can imagine what would happen if one were to crumble, or am I way over your head?"

*Dio ejected a small disk from his laptop and placed it in one of his pant pockets. He then pulled down his scarlet blue scarf and gently pushed his laptop into it. The color of the scarf changed several times swirling through an extended pallet of colors ranging mostly between blues, reds, and purples. Once the laptap was completely inserted into his scarf, the colors stopped fluctuating and the scarf returned to normal. Dio looked to Kyrai with an expression of anger on his face.*

"Why should you care? Don't be a dumbass. There's a reason for you to care inside that building about 20 yards away, and if that doesn't make you care then I will gladly be all over that."

*Dio quickly thrusts his hand in the direction of Yadi and points directly at her without looking away from Kyrai.*

"Don't tell her I said that though."

*Dio quickly calmed himself down. Dio had a knack for letting his emotions get the best of him at times.*

"Your right, but look, all we can do is hope and wait until i figure something out. On a side note, If your serious about this helping me thing, then prove it to me by showing a little emotion damnit! This whole not caring thing really needs to end. For some reason, your attitude is giving me a bad vibe. It may just be the whole reason why everything is due to go to &#$% someday in the near future."

*Dio brushes the hair out of his eyes and re-adjusts his headband*

"Well the next time @#$% hits the fan here, it may be the last time. Then you can really have nothing to show for all the effort you "think" you wasted helping others and helping yourself."
