If you ask 100 random people on the street what type of government we have, 99 to a 100 of them will say democracy/liberal democracy/representative democracy. What kind of society do we have that doesn't know what type of government we have? We are not a democracy. Democracy isn't written anywhere in the Constitution. We are "suppose" to be a republic. On television, in History documentaries, etc, they will all say we are a democracy. My Political Science and English professor all said we are a democracy. During elections, many television shows will make reference to us being a democracy. Even President Bush, being a complete idiot, said we are a democracy! I seriously want to do a study around my school's campus and see what they believe 3nodding

We both know that that's what it is, but attempting to convince the morons that run Wikipedia is something I don't have the free time (or ammunition) to accomplish.
