Today is the second day I've stayed home from school because I'm sick. So, of course, I've been goofing off on gaia. So, today I decided, "Hey, how about I get rid off all the Daily Chance stuff thats been building up in my invie!"
See, I have a really bad habit of letting the random clothing and housing items from DC just build up. So, I decided I'd just sell them all to Rufus and they'd all be his problem to sell off.
Now, last time I cleared out my invie like this (obviously too long ago), the problem arose that all the items I didn't like, were near the bottom of my invie. So this time, I went through the process of sifting through my items in the inventory arranger and putting then all at the top. Thats when it first struck me I had too many of these items. Then finally, I went through the painstaking process of selling all this stuff, one by one.
Let me give you an idea of how much there was. By the time I finished this, I had 4k more gold then when I started. Yes, that's right. I sold off 4k worth of DC junk! xp
To get a clear idea, this ranged from starter junk to tetris blocks to items like shoes and shirts. All of it was between 1 to 200g sellback. So, now that my invie is significantly lighter, and I'm recovering from the eyestrain of selling all that, let me ask. . . am I nuts? Does anyone else end up like this with DC junk?
Also, wouldn't it be nice if Rufus bought in bulk instead of one item at a time? xd

No, you're not insane with D.C. items. You just don't feel like selling back a couple items at a time, and then you put it off for a while. Next thing you know, you're in the situation you're in. But yeah, bulk buy back would be awesome. I would no longer have to go to Faktori to sell back the house stuff without having to have to reload the house inventory everytime I would sell something back to Rufus.

nah your not crazy...
you just put things off until they get Insain!
I usually sell my crap the day I get them... well the item crap.
That other crap gets sent to my mule to accumulate until I can make ink/flower boquets, etc.
And the tokens... holy crap I have a tone of those... but I'm slowly turning them into tickets so I can buy stuffs.

Perhaps it is better to let dc junk build up if one is not going to be too active on Gaia. That way, when one has a whole lot, you'll feel better seeing that you made a few k from selling off the entire lot of dc junk.
