...Back in the day when it was cool to own all the little 2 inch long pound puppies toys and then go out and buy the expensive ones where you could decorate their hair (ears) with all sorts of clips and bobbles....

I had all the videos, of course. Even the winter one with the two new puppies...

Of course there was that famous month when pound puppies hit it big: McDonalds put them in thier happy meals

heart heart I had 8 of 'em. I had three big ones (one was in a set with a newborn)...three newborns (one was a poodle) and two big ones that had sound sensors on them...you clap and they would bark. My first one is 21 years old...it is a tan bulldog with brown spots and ears. I got him for the last Christmas in our old house before we moved The next two I got for the first Christmas in our new house...the big one was black and the newborn was tan with brown ears. For my birthday, a classmate got me a white poodle newborn, and then I got the mother (grey)/newborn set (grey with brown spots and ears). After that was the two big barking ones...one was a reddish brown with black spots and ears while the other was grey with brown spots and ears.

A big brown pound puppy is the first thing I ever saved up to spend my own money on. We were not well to do back then, and lived in a tiny apartment in Orem, Utah. We never got allowance, but we got money for doing chores. I saved up for SOOO long till I had 9 dollars and bought her. She is brown with black spots. Yes, I said IS, not was. I still have is. Her name was Juliet, I think? I wanted a real dog so badly, I dragged that thing everywhere. But I still have her. I bought her when I was 6.
