You want a different view of the creation story, the war in heaven, and the fall of man? Read this book. Yes, it's a little confusing because it's written in the form of an epic, but it's a pretty decent book. . . . poem. . . thing. . .

Even though most of it is written from Milton's imagination, it still gives a nice feeling of Satan's logic for wanting war with heaven (oddly enough it's understandable) and it follows the same storylines as the Bible, exept it elaborates on heaven's war with Satan and the fallens. It's one of the few works that doesn't just say 1 sin out of 7 + 1 rebellious nature(hell) = Satan is bad!!!
