As Zejx approached, creatures began to poor out of the building. Undead creatures... Zombies, Skeletons, etc... Zejx just smirked and began to tear his way though. Nothing was going to stand in his way. He would have that power. No matter what.....

Valtayvious stopped briefly for a moment, watching as Zejx tore his way through the minions of the damned. He looked at the ground as a Zombie head landed near his feet. Its eyes looked up at Valtayvious, just before getting squashed completely by one of his boots. Valtayvious looked in disgust as he pulled his foot away from the face, bits of the Zombie's brains still stuck to his heel.
I would go and wear my good boots...
He pulled his sword out and began to slash away at the remainder of enemies that lay between him and Zejx.

Zejx was smiling the whole time. Slicing and dicing all that he came across. He will for that power, growing stronger with each creature that feel victim. Weak... weak... these are so weak.... Just mere morsals for my power to devour. The smile began to grow.

Valtayvious stopped hacking away and put his hands up as he ventured inside the Necropolis, a little ways yet behind Zejx. He was trying to dodge the pieces of enemies that flew back at him from the onslaught up ahead.
Hey! Watch where you're flinging that stuff! I know you're blood thirsty as all hell, you're not the only one, but...
Valtayvious looked at the mess that was already on his coat.
Ah screw it.
With that, he began to run after Zejx. He gripped the Demon Slayer tightly in his hands, holding the blade to his side as he charged forward.

Suddenly Zejx stopped as he finally took notice that he was being followed. What are you doing following me Valtayvious. You will not stop me from getting this power. I will kill you if you wish to stand in the way... He turned around. Now gripping his sword with both hands and held it in front of him.

Valtayvious stopped dead in his tracks. He was now staring down the hallway at Zejx, and his sword. Brushing the blood and other assorted stuff from his coat, he smirked a bit.
I...
Just as he was about to speak, he heard a noise come from behind him. Without even looking over his shoulder, he merely plunged his sword into the skeleton's skull behind him, splitting it in half. With that, the Demon Slayer began to glow with a faint aqua color. Valtayvious, pleased that his blade was fully charged, had his smirk turn into a smile.
Ah, just in time. Kill me will you? Mighty strong words for someone who couldn't get the job done the first time, wouldn't you say?

Zejx's sword began to glow like before. You really do have a death wish. I will send you back to the.... Then, just like before, something interupted Zejx.
Suddenly a voice echoed throughout the hallway. Who dare enters my domain.
Zejx turned around and faced toward the voice. Once again, it looks like we will have to put our dance on hold....

As Zejx took off down the hallway towards the voice, Valtayvious slowly let his sword come down to his side.
Either I'm truly lucky or this is just some kind of cruel joke.
Either way, it made no difference to him. Valtayvious once again followed Zejx in deeper.

The hallways seem to stretch on forever. No matter how far he ran, it didnt seem to end. Now he was begining to get impatient. He could feel the power getting closer, but the hallway never seemed to end. Finally, he came to a halt. What the hell is this place? Where does the hallway end!!!!!

Valtayvious caught up with Zejx after a short while. Feeling as though Zejx wasn't the biggest threat he was about to encounter, he stood right beside him. He just stared straight ahead, not looking at Zejx.
Maybe you should ask the ominous voice for a map.

Zejx was just about to bring his sword up to Valtayvious's head, when the voice boomed again. It seems I have a couple of rats in my cage. Maybe I should turn them into test rats.
With that, a part of the wall dissapeared, and a huge, half rotten creature came walking out. (think of a abomination for WoW ^_^) It looked like it was made of many different bodies. Zejx readied his sword as it turned its attention to him and Val.

Valtayvious readied his sword along side of Zejx.
So...uh...
His eyes scanned the multiple bodies, a look of grimace adorning his face.
I'll take the one's on the left.
And with that, Valtayvious ran forward, using the Demon Slayer to severe one of the bodies clean off the creature. The sound of steel tearing flesh made Valtayvious smile as he tore through to the opposite side.

Zejx smirked as he dashed with Val, but instead of attacking, he ran right passed the creature. I have a better idea, you can have the whole thing. With that, he dissapeared into the new door.

Valtayvious watched Zejx leave him.
b*****d...though it doesn't surprise me.
He then turned to face the creature once again, looking down at his glowing sword then back up.
I really don't have the time for this, but I'll make you a deal.
Valtayvious jumped over the creature, landing behind it.
Leave me a note on how to get a hold of you...
He plunged his sword into its backside and out the front. He began zig-zagging his way up the creature, eventually slicing its skull in half. He landed in front of it now.
And we'll get together some other time.
He smirked and turned around, looking at the pile of lifeless goo on the floor.
Actually, on second thought, I think we should see other people.
Valtayvious took off into the door that Zejx bolted into a few moments before.

After what seemed to be like forever, Zejx finally came to a huge open room. There wasnt much in the room. The walls seemed to be made of rotting flesh. The smell was just about enough to kill a normal person. There really wasnt anything else there, except for a huge floating bubble of blood in the middle. He slowly approached it. What in the world? Is this... is this the power I was sensing?
