Star Fox: Shadows of Lylat

A group of people determined to make a sequil to fill in the eight year blank between Star fox 64 and Adventures has become a reality.

This must be one of the largest fan-based videogames developed in history....



Using the Free Space engine they moded the PC Game to have extended version beyond anyones comprehention of what most nintendo people wanted in an SF Game.

So far the game is still in development, and NIntendo has'nt decided to lawsut them as long as they are not making a profit... oh yeah did i forget to mention you get to download the game for free?

Believe me they already got letters from Nintendo and from what they said they're cool with it so long as they don't make any money out of it

and as goes for the people who are working on the project their are somewhat over a hundred people working on this game whether its the programing or adding ideas to their game.


Believe me they aren't going down with a fight esp. when they have been working on this project for more than a couple years... they already got reviews from IGN and XPLAY.com., not to mention most of Europe knows about them and they're usually the last to know when it comes to Star Fox

So to answer your statement whatever you got the idea that they would get in trouble our give up the answer is no they have already gone beyond that...

Besides they are using The Free space Engine to do it if they were going to be sued it would not be from Nintendo but from the creators of Free Space. But i don't see that happening since the game has been out for a long time about a few years which believe me is a lot...

The story is already finished so I don't see any arguing on the part... and the flow of information is taken carefully through comments and email for the design and concept of the game... though the game is practically finished they have to patch up on a few kinks in the graphic and voice department and there done...

you know they ripped that off from GTA series (Grand Theft Auto)

not like ripped off like they stole the idea they just "used that feature that enables the players to so thaat in Star Fox Assault.

Besides so you cant do what you can do in assault, in Star Fox 64 You had to be in vehicles anyway... so i'm not complaining that is if i'm able to get a PC to play it off of that is...

They are testing a rally feature on the game, and from what I have been hearing as my time there on their sit they are planning to release a playable demo for free shortly...
