Captain America! I can't believe it. I've been enjoying The New Avengers but now...I just don't know.

How can they even have The New Avengers without Captain America and with Spiderman being with the resistance. They seem to be working hard to make it look like Tony Stark sold everyone out.

Was this during the Civil War? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up.

I think it was.

I missed a lot of the Civil War, too.

I think it's a pity, though. They seem to have killed him in order to emphasize the seriousness of the situation, but in the long run, it just seems... cheap. "How can we make this seem important?" "Oh, I know. We'll kill someone... Someone iconic... And let's pic Captain America, because, you know, he doesn't make as much money as the others."

They do this all the time. It's probably a clone that died, or they'll go back in time and recsue him, or he's not REALLY dead, or something cliche like that.

It happens all the time yes and it is sad. What they will propebly do is start a whole new version of it and then eveyone who liked the old one will hate them for it and think that a classic has come to an end and I must say that I would agree with them. Even if they use one of the many cleque bring him back to life things the show will not be the same or as good because they will have a new writer of the story or something like that.
I never like it when they kill good charicters but it is always better to leave them dead than to revive them in a warped or corrupt form.

So far, the only dead comic book character who has stayed dead is Gwen Stacey.

Wonder when she'll be back?

I mean, even Jason Todd came back!
