Hello here you may chat with each other on the finding of each of the .Hack games from the old to the new as well as when the games are coimg out when you beat them and if you have every item or ryu book completed.

Does anyone have any clue on how to kill that guy on the new dot hack//G.U game at first he was just black and green eyes but then he took my form after I got all the ryu books completed and the items list complete with all 50 items he started coming more and more.

Um im not sure really all I know now is that during the last steps after you get all the expandments on your guild it starts to show up then. After you complete the ryu books then this dude gives you a certain sword and armor to beat it then you have to do a battle so I am almost there woot for me.

That's your doppleganger. He is very hard to beat. He appears after the Doppleganger thread appears in the Rumors section of the Forum. He is always eight levels above you, even if you have reached the level limit.
How to beat him? I didn't use a strategy. I took Pi and Khun with me and just attacked. I found the Awakening helped a lot. Also, take a lot of healing items. A Lot.
The best thing about beating him is that you get an item called Own King. You can't use this item in vol. 1, but you can use it in vol. 2 to get the Doppleganger's weapons.

Well I finally beat him it took me long enough to but now I feel like I have done something good in the game itself haha. I had to get a special armor to beat him which made my job alot easier but after that it might have been a little to easy haha oh well.

I know this is kindof old in the game, iv completed it but i cant fing one of the unlucky animals sweatdrop I have the horse one, the cat and fox , does anyone have the words to find out where to get the last unlucky animal i need?

well each unlucky animal appears atlest in three other worlds so try a combination you havent done and mix it around back and forth.
