Which do you guys prefer. I mean from songs like I turned into a martian which is good clean fun to Bullet which is the Kennedy Assassination, what direction do you prefer. I always liked the cartoonish side you know, but my favorite songs are dark as hell. So I go with darker.

It depends on my mood really. I often prefer heavier music nowadays though.

I like the cartoonish side myself, but the darker lyrics are cooler.

its cool how you can see danzig transition throught the Misfits. Look at the songs from Static age, most of the songs are fun and campy. Then look at Earth Ad, Its way darker

I guess I like the darker stuff more, well it's more like I catch myself listening to the darker stuff more.

Yea... The campy side is just more fun. I like fun, but darkers still better

you know, I used to prefer the campy stuff, but then I got into some samhain, and they did the dark thing pretty well. And at first I didn't like Earth A.D. (SHOCK!) but later I looked back at it and saw it was a very good album. So I dunno. I like both. Both can be done very well, but at the same time, they can be done really stupid too. So really both are good if you do them right.
