 Just like many days past, the green striped cub wandered toward the edge of the oasis straining her neck to see if she could catch, just a glimse of her mother return. Alas like many days past, her mother was not on the horizon. A sigh escaped the small figures maw as she turned away toward the shade of the tree.
Zagaa'Tamanio was disappointed hoping that today would be the day her mother would return to them, but sadly it was not. The green striped cub did her best not to let it get her down too badly, after all she couldn't let her siblings see her like this, she needed to be strong. If she wasn't they would all die since the adults in this damned place didn't give a damn for them or their lives.
At this thought her teeth clenched together and her claws flexed slightly before receeding. "We'll get through this, I know we will and she will come back....she will." Those words were muttered softly by her as she settled down on her stomach.

The lioness padded along the edge of the oasis, yet just aways away from where the small cub was. Safir'ena, was tired. She had been traveling around quite alot lately, trying to find a place where she could stay... yet sadly, no place seemed to have.. jumped out at her, made her feel welcome. Was she destined to wander for life? Wander, alone?
She prayed this was not the case,.. prayed that soon, she would find a good home for her to stay, and perhaps someone to love her, os someone she could love, and we with, until fate changed her mind.
She heard herself sigh before she really thought about it, raising her pale pink eyes slowly, off the ground. It was then that she caught site of the white, green, and black marked cub, not too far away.

Zagaa'Tamanio lay in the shadows of one of the trees within the oasis. Her eyes were shut as she forced herself to calm down. The mother WAS coming back, she just knew she was.....But if she was then why wasn't she back yet? It had been weeks since Malika left them. Tama was begining to get tense again and took deep breaths to sooth herself.
Her eyes fluttered open and noticed a figure in the distance. Instantly she was on her paws, racing to the edge, her neck craning forward, praying that it was her mother. But as the figure got closer the cub realized that the fur was blue, not white and no sign of green could be found on the other. A sigh escaped her but she did her best to not show that she was disappointed, she would let the stranger feel welcome, it'd be nice to talk to someone besides her siblings for one.

[Actually, she's wrong,... Safir'ena's underside is green xDD;;]
Safir'ena let her usual smile form on her maw, raising her paw in a waving gesture. She took a few steps forward, watching the cub. She was quite pretty, for a young one.
Before long, she was near the cub, smiling down at her. "Hello there." she said calmly.

[She just missed it because she was looking more towards the face]
Zagaa'Tamanio opened her mouth to reply but found that all words had escaped her. She had never seen an outsider before, she had barely seen any of those that remained in the pride, but this was so different than those fleeting glances. An outsider was talking to her, and actual outsider! It was so shocking that she was paralized, unable to speak or move, frozen on the spot.
"....." The young cubs mind was racing, she didn't want to seem like an idiot but not saying anything but she just couldn't figure out what to say. "Uh..eh..um..." She babbled casting her gaze to the ground.
Idiot!
She yelled at herself mentally feeling like a failure.
