Small Arms Jusuchin Panjirinanu Thank God for Master Gunner (Ret.)(b.1926/d. -still alive- ) Ian V. Hogg and Colonel (Ret.)(b. 1928/ d. 1983) John S. Weeks of the British Army in creating a very comprehensive volume of military weapons. The weapons used by the GMC/PDN are based off the Seventh edition of their Small Caliber Firearms Encyclopedia: Military Small Arms of the 20th Century. All the weapons are found in this book and if any aspiring military guild is in need of weapons, this book, Jane's Infantry Weapons, any publication by Mr. Ian V. Hogg, or in the History Channel's documentary series Tales of the Gun are excellent sources of information. For my men/ women and my allies, enemies, etc., know the GMC always had no definite weapons list, until now. Any comments can be posted OOC or PMed to me. Body Armor  The interceptor Mk.VI. An advanced version of its three former cousins. Shear thickening fluid, which you are already familiar with, is the main component that provide lightweight and uncumbersome protection against even a Claymore set at 10 meters away. This is going to be just the vest however. The full outfit should look something like this:  The full Interceptor set includes an automatic breathing apparatus using a nitrogen/argon filter that superheats each other, and literally burns the molecular makeup of any gaseous element that passes through the filter, changing it into oxygen. This can be used for standard ground infantry and any crewmember of the PDN Space Program. Currently finding more sets of armored space suits and the likes.

Fort Gateway Gaian Marine Corps Primary base Currently Abandoned. Dunno for how long. Maybe when RF figures things out with it's High Command. Fort Gateway
A base of operations for the GMC, this base is located in the Philippine Province of Ilocos Norte, in the main Island of Luzon. Situated near the sea, this base is the primary C&C base of the GMC, plus acting as the groundside HQ of the PDN. This is the Primary base for all non-NPC personnel. It also serves as a launch pad for shuttles to and from Castle Tranquility Sea. The Philippine Government gave up land for this GMC base.
When you get in:
Once you are escorted to the main base, entering the base, you will stare down the muzzles of antique Hotchkiss 1.65 inch cannons, fully loaded, but unusable, since these are just show pieces, but showpieces waiting to come to life, further down the hallway, you will encounter a table, where a grumpy old marine gunnery sergeant will check out your application or identification, then he will tell you to go to the fourth elevator down the hall, MP's guard the elevator room, and motion you to the fourth elevator one says: "Hey, welcome to the Gaian Marine Corps, just go to the fourth elevator, to the lower level, and maybe get something to eat while you're at it.", You enter the elevator, with only two buttons, 1 or 2. Once arriving in the lower level, three doors await you, To the Barracks/ Armory, Chapel, or to the Mess hall. Which shall you chose, because if you make it this far, you're a Marine.
Layout:
Base:
The base is a 4km, by 4 km, by 5km, by 5 km area. Along the 5km and 4km boundaries, the main airfields are located. In the corner of the 4km and 4km boundary, contains a small spaceport where Pelican Atmospheric-Space Dropships transport men and materiel to and from Fort Gateway and Castle Tranquility Sea. In the middle of the complex, is a small man-made hill, on top of which is a circular structure. Next to this, half a mile away, is a domed green house. The base is hilly, surrounding area mountainous, and with jungle growth, though a bit tamer than when it was before the base came into existence.
Main Base Complex:
The main base is located on top of a man-made hill. Made of scavenged Armor plating from Castle Ruin*, the structure remains the same design as Castle Ruin. On the top of the flattened top, are four Oerlikon Anti-mech turrets. In the sides of this structure, are numerous pop-open mounts. Ranging from quadruple .50 caliber anti-infantry gun emplacements, 5-inch anti vehicle turrets, missile launchers, and an electronic anti-missile chain gun, used as an anti-missile gun by the US Navy. --To be revised-- The structure is just an entrance way to a cluster of elevators, which lead to all bunkers: C&C, hydroponics, barracks/mess, reactor, training bunker, garage, and to the hangars. * Castle Ruin: A destroyed GMC base near Barton town, now a nuclear wasteland. The main structure is similar to what is seen in Fort Gateway. A circular pyramid, with a flat top with heavy weapons. The base was the main HQ of the second reincarnation of the GMC. The powerplant of this base is a RRG Mk.12 protoculture-fueled Reflex furnace. Similar to the ones used in the Inuyasha-class vessels, this reactor is not nuclear based.
Hangar:
The hangar complex is 200 feet underground, with 5 principal elevator shafts for mecha/planes and 3 smaller support elevators.
Barracks:
Each man has an 8-foot by 8 foot by 9-foot room, complete with bed, table, pc, and a weapons locker. In the end of each hallway is a bathroom. Officers get a 10-foot by 12 foot by 9-foot room, with a small private bathroom taking up 3 feet by 6 feet of space. The hallways lead to a central area, with the elevator shaft in the middle, and three entrances. One entrance leading to the barracks, another entrance to a chapel, and another to the Mess halls/ kitchens. Mess: Always open, in non-peak times, self-serve MRE?s, in peak times, an NPC crew cooks meals.
C&C:
The deepest bunker, it is protected by 7 meters of reinforced concrete, and 3 meters of Alpha-class Gundamium-Titanium battle plate, and 1 inch of Adamantium. The entire bunker is EMP protected, with it?s computer systems having a defensive measure of three 16 all character password, which is changed periodically, in no random order. It is 900 feet below ground.
Hydroponics:
Not really a bunker, but a domed green house in parallel to the main complex. It is the primary food growing facility. Even if this is knocked out, supplies are enough for a continuous siege of up to a year.
Training Bunker:
A large bunker, 600 meters in diameter, with a track field, rifle range, obstacle course, swimming pool, and gym. Located 100 feet below ground and protected of only reinforced concrete, in case this area is taken by the enemy, a series of weapons lockers are unlocked and anyone inside can use the weapons in them, which are: 3 G-36 rifles, 3 9mm Beretta hand guns, and 3 Tavor AR 21(I M I design and build) Bullpup Assault Rifles.
Medical Bunker:
A four winged bunker, from minor cases, to serious wounds, this is also connected to the chaplain?s quarters. A total of 180 men can be housed in one wing. Each wing has it?s own ER. The Main surgeon and his staff have their own quarters in this bunker. --To be revised. --
Garage:
In this garage contains 20 Bradley IFV?s, 12 jeeps, 8Abrams Tanks, and 3 Semi?s with flatbed trailers. The trailers vary from flatbeds, boat trailers, to Mobile C&C pods--To be revised--
Brig:
Self explanatory, jail, the house, cell, however you name it, it is the holding area of prisoners, spies, and defectors (anyone who can leave one guild can leave us, with a whole lot of info in their brains.) A separate elevator goes down to another room, where two heavily armed Marines,not MP?s, guard the other elevator in this room is given this one purpose, with three armed MP?s in each side of the elevator shaft guarding it.
Powerplant:
A separate bunker containing three RRG Mk.12 protoculture-fueled Reflex furnaces, provide power to the complex, and surrounding farms, this bunker is protected with reinforced concrete, a layer of EMP mines, then 3 meters of Alpha-class Gundamium-Titanium battle plate, then an outer layer of 3inch thick plating of pure Gundamium, and a sparse layer of 3mm Adamantium.
Space Base:
Just a metal plate, able to launch 3 Pelicans in succession. Underneath the plate is a bunker that has supplies, maintenance stuff, etc?.-- To be revised--
Air Field:
An asphalt runway, No.1 is two miles long, No.2 is one mile long. In the middle where both intersect are a series of elevators from the Hangar bunker, above that, is an Aztec-Pyramid style control center.
Defenses:
-Fence:
A simple barbwire and mesh fence around the perimeter.
-Signs: For the local populace.
-Minefield:
All consisting of Anti-mecha mines. Located in front of the Tank ditches. Are remotely armed and powered to decrease civilian casualties. All are inactive, until alert level is yellow.
-Gun emplacements:
Multiple Quadruple .50 Caliber auto firing turrets, to manned 5 inch and 88mm anti-armor turrets, to turrets taken from Abrams tanks, and set on top of a platform. Six Oerlikon Anti-mecha laser turrets, and 404mm Monster Destroid Mobile Artillery units make up the heavier firepower spectrum. These turrets are spread around the base; Four Oerlikon Turrets are on top of the main complex.-- To be revised--
-Tank ditches:
all around the perimeter, the way to get in is to have two drawbridges in both sides connect to a small ?island? in the middle of the ditch. Machine gun nests and towers defend the drawbridges. The trenches extend outward from the perimeter, about 500 meters wide and 15 meters deep with a nearly 60 degree angle. Any rainwater caught in this ditch goes to irrigation ditches and pipes, where it is distributed to the hydroponics dome and local farmers. The entrances are in the corners of the base, all facing major roadways and towns. Waterproofed EMP mines are located in this ditch, and if it is filled up with water, will electrocute anything in the water, the EMP mines have their own power supply, and thus the base isn?t drained of energy when this happens.
-Computer system:
An AI fully programmed to intercept hackers, who must first defeat a system employing 3 16 all symbol password defenses which change randomly in no specific pattern. If the first system fails, a secondary system kicks in when the third password falls and the hacker must continue until it reaches the AI, which sends a computer virus to the source of the interference, copies the hacking program for future reference, then destroys everything in a split second, if more than .003 nanoseconds are up when the second system fails and the AI is still looking for the source, the AI will stop and create another system, but with a 30 all symbol password.-- To be revised--
- Air defense:
Three early warning Radars in the surrounding provinces, each with it's own Patriot Air Defense Missile Battery, two other smaller range radars, in the mountains surrounding the base, manned by marines, and with their own Stinger SAM launchers. The main search Radar, multiple stationary and mobile air defense batteries in the Fort, and mobile Air Defense batteries constantly on the move in the Ilocos Norte Province, and the mountains surrounding the base. --To be revised--

-Armed Marines in patrol, these patrol the perimeter on Stryker IFV's -Snipers in hills overlooking the base: Sinper armed with a Barret Anti-Materiel rifle, spotter with an SMG. -Local Government, mainly the PNP or Philippine National Police. They report any suspicious people to us and to their superiors. -- To be revised-- -Talisman system--to be written-- -Anti-Nuclear -- under research-- ((I think I overdid the defenses.))
Security Procedures:
Rules: - No armed applicants, any arms will be confiscated until you are officially a marine. - You will be escorted inside a Bradley IFV, to the main complex. - Any person driving in a vehicle shall be stopped, searched, and have their vehicle impounded. No fast vehicles here, since the road is a usual Philippine road, un maintained, bumpy, and turns into a small river during rain storms. Only 4x4 vehicles or any other of that manner can really prevail. - Any person entering armed, shall have a designation given to you by the NPC snipers, any wrong move will have you shot in the arm, to ward you off, then in the head. - You must PM me your application. - You must make an acceptable entrance post, once the Talisman system is up, magical entry is not allowed. - All applicants shall have background checks, while current personnel shall have a periodic check.
Escort:
- You will be greeted with an IFV; three Marines will exit the vehicle and ask for your application and any hidden weapons. The Tank commander will cover you with his personal weapon. - Once cleared and checked you will be taken to the IFV. - If arrival by vehicle, it will be towed to the base after examinations by bomb squads. - You will be driven to the main complex. - Air escorts: none given, since the extensive anti-air batteries will ward off most attackers, allied aircraft/mechs will be verified, any surrendering/ defecting/ white flag (negotiations) aircraft from enemy forces shall be escorted by a VF-1A Valkyrie fighter, and will land at the No.2 runway, where the aircraft will be surrounded by MP?s and one Bradley IFV. Unidentified aircraft will be checked out. Commercial aircraft will be checked out with the local air traffic controllers. - If proven to be an enemy of the GMC or it's allies, and on the way to the base, local police will be notified, and will be asked to be escorted, a nearby marine patrol will reinforce the PNP (Philippine National Police). If proven to be hostile, the base is put on alert, and MVC-M11C Murasame's will be deployed. - If entrance by other means, magical or by disguise, you will be sent to the holding center. If by disguise, you will be tried, and if found to be a spy, may end up being shot or detained for a long duration of time.
Subject to change and improvements Neo-Manila UN Sanctioned Independent Territorial Base Complex Neo-Manila Usean Naval Base and Shipyard ((Neo-Pearl of the Orient Usean Naval Bay))+++++-----------------------------+++++ Introduction Neo-Manila is the Gaian Marine Corps and Phoenix Deterrence Navy?s Claim to the continent of Usea. Situated to the north of the Raven Federation?s Vatican City base, this naval base owns the entire bay, but is divided into distinct areas. They are located clockwise from the northernmost peninsula. The below are the listed bases and their own unique features. This is also called Neo-Pearl of the Orient by its commander, who remembers the title given to Manila by the world. +++++-----------------------------+++++ Bases, clockwise from Northern Peninsula to Island ?The heart of this bay.?Triggerfish Domed Harbor Complex:-The triggerfish naval complex contains the moorings and docks for the entire Shark-squadron. The Triggerfish complex is purely subterranean, and the docks are in fact only accessible via an opening launch door or an underwater tunnel. The complex has enough space and materials to sustain the maintenance of the entire Shark-class squadron. The cavern was built out of an existing Grotto, enlarged, to the point that construction crews reached the ocean side of the peninsula. In that side, taking a clue from the NA 1st, are two cannon 16 inch battleship turrets, supplemented by Gottfried 225cm High energy turrets and a Lohengrin Positron Blaster Cannon. -----------------------------Parrotfish Aerial Complex:-Next to the Triggerfish complex, is the Parrotfish complex. This contains the entire Naval Air Arm of Neo-Manila. Based off the Fort Gateway airfields, the Air arm of the entire Usean detachment is stationed here. The -----------------------------Stonefish Murasame Complex:-This is just a small 1km by 1km complex maintaining a squadron of Murasame MS. Defenses: - Titanium-Gundamium Class Omega Battle Plate: The bridge tower, engines, and all other essential areas contain about three meters of this battle plate. The Bridge is detachable, allowing it to have all it's crew members escape if need be. The Y-Equipment has improved both the speed and weaponry of the Nadesico. The Gravity-blast Cannon and the Distortion field probably one of the most strongest weapons and defense systems in the PDN. Modifications:Instead of Boson Jumping, the Phase Transition engine has been replaced with a PDN Fold Drive, though the Distortion field needs to be down when it is activated, or else the ship is ripped apart by the two opposite forces. Gamma Emission by Nuclear Explosion Stimulate Inducing System >Last ditch weapon of the GMC/PDN >> The Genesis was a weapon developed by ZAFT in the war versus the Natural controlled Earth Alliance. If they are caught in an explosion, death is instantaneous, but if in some areas where explosions aren?t taking place, the human body will expand, causing the person to literally pop like a balloon. There are currently two Genesis-class Lasers in operation in the Phoenix Deterrence Navy?s arsenal. The Marine Corps/Navy Version is encorporated into the DS-1 Pinpoint Disk Shield System, thus the creation of the DS-1PR1 Pinpoint Defense System-Positron Reflector. Logistics Currently, our primary Logistics is the Montgolfier-class Ship Tenders. These ships are part of the Gaian Marine Corps, and the Navy. They deliver ore and materials from interplanetary bases to diffrent front companies for the GMC/PDN, and to Kwan-Do Enterprise communications and technology company. One Company would also be the UN Controled "Nergal Heavy Industries" This Gaian Nergal occomplishes much of the same things as in the Anime Martian Sucessor Nadesico. The Logisitcs fleet is the life blood not only for the Material wealth of the GMC/PDN, but it's economic one. Mining Ore not only give it it's own resources, but any spare ore will be sold off. Currently these are the Logistical units at the GMC/PDN's disposal: Logistical Units Montgolfier-class Ship Tender These ships follow the same hull as the Tokugawa-class Battlecruisers.
