Chapter One
I was a young man who was an okay swordsman who was practicing one day before ending up in the middle of the forest looking around looking for a way out scare. Back then I was a tall man with blonde hair brown eyes and a light tan always smiling. After running around in circles for hours and then suddenly, "Ouch" a tree branch fell onto my head and I heard girl's laughter and I my cheeks blushed a light salmon red "Who's there?" I yelled out and then she jumped down from the tree
"Don't worry child I won't hurt you anymore" she smiled still giggling "By the way that tree branch hit you your not a demon"
I drew my sword "You did that grrrr" I just stared at her and then I put my sword away into its sheath admiring her beauty. She had short black hair green eyes and dark green cargo pants with slits on the knees and a black tank top. I finally got out of the trans I was in and spoke breaking an odd silence "Umm I am Zein"
She blushed and turned around "Yeah well I am Cloud and I would stop trying to get out of this forest your stuck here now"
"Then where" I asked quickly "Should I go Cloud" I stepped forward
"With me… or with the devil…you must make a choice…come with me or go join the demons" Cloud responded to my question
"There's no asking to that of course I will go with you…" I said my blush turning to a light cherry color "Um Cloud I want to learn more about you"
She then blushed a light red and made it so I couldn't see her face "You will get to learn but you also learn how to fight"
I smiled at that last part. Back then all I wanted to do was become one of the best fighters in the world to protect everyone from danger but at that time when I first met Cloud I didn't know it yet but I fell in love with her.
Months went by and Cloud taught me everything she knew and I became a good fighter but then one day something horrible happened, something that would change my life for over 500 years and the same to Cloud. One day I was going out to get firewood for dinner and then.
"You want to become stronger don't you" the voice said as rustling in the bush made me drop the wood and hold the hilt of my blade
"Who are you? Show your self," I yelled out with a slightly scared tone in my voice
The demon came from the bushes. He was big really big with spikes on his back and a blade for a tail tip, he was pure black and had evil eyes that gave an stare that it made me be stuck in my own fear "It is I, Londer the demon. And I come with an offer" he gave an evil smirk that made my mind more confused they it was already
"What is the deal? No matter what I will refuse but I still would like to know what it is" I tried to draw my blade but it was hopeless
"An offer of power, I can make you more powerful then you have ever dreamt about all I need is for you to join my side of the fight the demonic side and kill that friend of yours… what's her name oh yeah Cloud" he didn't stop smirking.
Kill Cloud I couldn't not after all the time I spent with her I thought then I looked at the demon "What if you give me some of the power but let me keep my soul so I can make the right choice in lets say 3 months" I didn't know what took over me, I was craving the power, like I was under a spell or something I never knew but anyways back to the story.
"Deal" he said as he got closer step by step the grass under his feet died instantly as he raised his hand at me he touched my chest with one finger and smirked as this large blue curse mark appeared on my body that glowed for a few moments before stopping as Londer disappeared.
"What have I done" I said as I felt the rush of power blasting though my vein from the curse mark "Maybe there's a way to fix this…Cloud would know" I rushed out of the clearing back to the hut we lived in "Cloud Cloud Where are you"
Cloud jumped from a tree and landed in front of him sensing the increase of power she frowned "You didn't" she was not angry but sad.
I looked down and a tear fell from my face as it hit the ground it sparked a small flame "I did"
"You made a deal with a demon you know they take your soul, do you still want to save humanity or do you just give up"
"Cloud I do anything to save humanity but I only have 3 months in till I change to a demon…and go to their side of power"
Cloud walked up to me and placed her hands on my shoulder "Then we'll defeat them before that time comes"
My head jerked up at her with a smile "Really"
"Yeah really" Cloud felt sorry for me because if we did defeat the demons I might go and be stuck in the seal with them, "Zein if you promise to not take my soul I will become a demon with you but you got to promise me that we'll stick together no matter what"
I smiled gently and looked into her eyes "I promise…but I can only think of one way to transfer part of my demonic energy to you"
"Then do it" she smiled at me that made my heart melt.
I took a step closer leaned forward and kissed her gently on the lips. It was my first kiss and I remember it perfectly. Right have that a large flash of blinding light happened and when it was over we became half demons. I had a white fox tail and white fox ears as for her she had a Black Panther tail and black fur over her chest and back with cat ears.
"Wow" was all we could say. After that day we stay together and defeated the demons sealing them and the devil into the demonic mountain but sadly I was ripped away from Cloud in the seal by the other demons. 500 years pasted and both cloud and me lost our memory of each other or what happened before from the day we met I became a full fox demon and joined in the high ranks of the demons, I hated them all but the devil had a hold on my heart preventing me from leaving, And now our story really starts with the new battle for humanity on hand.
