.- Don't try to fix me -. [I'm not broken!] An Introduction
O hay, look. I have made one of these quest threads. Or started. I WARN YOU- this is as of now INCOMPLETE and HEAVILY under construction. >.> I'm workin' on things. I swear. But here's what I got so far... Just the facts, ma'amCustom form [Name] "Tripper"
[Owner/player] To be determined. If you mean owner of the pet in general outside the RP world, then that'd be me XD
[Gender] Male
[Type] Junkeater
[Affiliation] Neutral
*[Morph] None? I think maybe a morphed Junkeater would be 'overkill' in a way, yeah? This might change. If so, I was eying the dragon or possible Lupine morphs... +[Base-type] N/A +[Mutations] N/A =[Errors] Various. Verbal: -Stutters. Even more so when he gets excited/startled. I've always had a thing for stutterers :B -Static. His voice sometimes drops into static as whatever manages his voice malfunctions from time to time. The static hiss tend to be loud, and can last for either a quick moment to days.
Visual: -Blindness. One eye is non-working. Haven't decided whether it's the left or the right. -Color issues. Have you ever watched an old TV? You know how the hue and saturation can change when you mess with the knobs, causing things to be more red, green, or blue? That happens with Tripper at times, especially when he gets his head jostled around.
Quills/'wings' -Rust. His quills have been chewed by rust, and tinged in other areas. -Fallin' to pieces. Occasionally, as RP progresses, I'm thinking a quill or two will drop off him eventually.
Movement -Coordination. Tripper has earned his name due to his lack of coordination. It's not just a matter of innate clumsiness though. Apparently, whichever part of his 'brain' controls coordination of his limbs isn't working so well, and tends to misfire at times, resulting in his legs either going inactive or just spasm. He can walk along fine most of the time, but he is also rather prone to getting his legs all tangled and, well, taking a digger. His gait is noticeably effected by this, as he doesn't move as fast or smooth as most .exe. Coordination issue get worse the faster he moves, so he tends to move rather slow. -Balance. Along with a lack of coordination, his balance is rather off too. This can result in him toppling over, having trouble getting up, or even staying in a sitting position. This seems less severe and common as his coordination malfunction, however. -Seizures. Since it seems the motor section of his 'brain' is effected, he'll occasionally go into seizure where he loses all motor control and writhes around on the ground. Sometime it lasts only moments, other time it will go on until someone or something interferes and snaps him out of it.
[Base color] Information forthcoming.
[Markings] Information and references forthcoming.
[Background Info] Aside from escaping a factory? XD I...will write a backstory eventually. Need to flesh the one I'm working on out before posting.
[Other] N/A This is all VERY tentative. I'm tying to get a feel for things, and the design and idea may change radically when I'm more awake/have thought about things more. This is just the base beginning.

The Handler
In all truth, Tripper doesn't have an owner, being a junkeater. He DOES cross paths with my 'owner/handler' character I have for any other .exe I get though :V
His profile will go here. When I type it up.

.- Here comes a Special Boy! -.Personality Tripper's personality gets it's own little post, because it's fairly in-depth. First of all, it should be noted that Tripper's personality progression is to deeply follow the five stages of death/grief. Secondly, I haven't worked out a 'base' personality, since his overall mood and personality seems to change and evolve as time goes out. He starts out being rather confused, meek, and inquisitive...but how he ends up depends on RP, introspections, and other variables.
The Five Stages:
Unaware. At the start, Tripper is vastly unaware that he is so messed up. He doesn't understand why the people want him deactivated so badly. He doesn't understand, perhaps through an AI error or whatnot, that anything is wrong, or that he is different. All he knows, is that he exists, and that to be deactivate is a terrible thing he should avoid. In his escape from the factory, he is driven mostly by 'fear' and the desire to remain active. He knows that if he stayed at the factory, he would not be able to maintain his desire and goal to remain active. So he flees. But evern despite his body acting so abnormal (symptoms of corruption express themself form early on, naturally), he doesn't have any standard on which to compare his behavior, so he remains- until a few interactions- believing at default that he is 'normal' due to insufficiant data. Even after possible interaction/observation between/of other standard .exe, he still remains unsure why he is different, though he does not see it as being 'wrong' or 'broken'.
Not yet, anyways.
Denial. The first stage. After some interactions and observation (with not just other .exe, but with my possible 'handler' sort of character), he becomes informed as to the fact he is certainly abnormal, broken, defunct, and destined to die. This stage will possibly one of the longer ones (depending on how things progress) and arguably overlaps the Unaware state. After becoming Enlightened to his State, he will vehemently deny that anything is wrong with him, and that while he's a little different, he's not 'broken'. He refuses to believe that such a thing could happen to him, and that everything is alright, that what might be wrong can be fixed.
There's no way he's destined to die, right?
[I suppose, in the end, Unaware and Denial are two different 'levels' of the same stage. Unaware is simply Denial without being informed by others in a way (it's more like denying the 'symptoms' that manifest in himself), and Denial itself is more like actively denying the facts provided by others afterwards, if that makes any sense at all.]
Anger. The second stage, and a rather dangerous one. After thinking about what destiny he's been doomed to, something dark and angry begins to brew inside of him like a monster. He becomes angry that people keep telling him that he's broken and useless, and later on, angry that this could happen to him. Why was he corrupted? out of all the .exe, why him? Why was he destined to die? It doesn't seem fair! Why won't anyone love him. Sure, he eats everything in site, but does that mean he is not deserving of attention? Why has he been deprived a normal function span? It isn't fair! In this stage, he will become very snappy and unstable, and more likely to lash out at other- handler and .exe- in states of rage, and attack with little to no provocation.
Depression. Sometimes, you get too tired to be angry anymore. After his rage burns out, Tripper will sink into a sort of depression, the third stage. This stage will be a little shorter than the others, and consist mostly of the Junkeater sulking around, laying low after all the hell he raised during his Anger stage. Not much to say about tis stage, except he's less likely to lash out at others.
Bargaining. Still tired and weak from the anger, still slightly depressed from the last stage, Tripper will enter a frantic sort of bargaining stage. While he's still more likely to stay carefully hidden and quiet, he's become a little more active. Maybe he will beg other to fix him, to cure him. His reasoning and AI are becoming less and less solid, and some of the pleas he makes...may not make sense, or may even be overly radical. Not as dangerous a state as Anger, but still a risky one to anyone who contacts him due to his instable processing and AI.
Acceptance/Absolution. By this stage, Tripper has accepted his inevitable fate and his problems. He's given in by ow to the inevitable, accepting and reveling in his insatiable craving and behaviors. He's become very unstable and sociopathic by this point, though what he's ultimately like depends heavily on events, RPs and interactions that occur in the previous stages.
[Perhaps more information shall be added later? I have a feeling any other general personality stuff will just go on the custom form under 'Other' though...]

Looks Aren't Everything
Ah, the post about Tripper's look. Or, a more in-depth look at his appearance. Right now, the design idea I have is not finalized, and it's possible it may change completely. But for now, I have a concept I want to test out. Maybe seeing it typed out will help me rework things.
[HEAVILY under construction]
Base:
Body -???
Chest -???
Head -???
Eyes Yellow/white (the blind eye will be white)
Markings ???

Yes, no, Maybe So...Tentative Concepts This post will be the home of all my tentative ideas and concepts. Sometimes seeing things you're iffy on written out helps you make a decision :3
-One of the ideas I had for Tripper, but kept taking out and putting back and taking out had to do with his tongue. It works fine and all...but it tends to loll out of his mouth. When he isn't talking, his tongue tends to hang out for the front of his mouth. Not as much out of side of his mouth, though. Almost always dangling or peeking out the front between his front teeth.
-Another idea was his morph. Right now, he has no morph, but I was toying with the idea of a dragon or lupine morph. If I ended up going for morph I would omit some of his 'bugs' so it wouldn't seem like overkill. I like the idea of a Junkdragon (memo to self: scan the Junkdragon you drew sometime soon. srsly, if you scan nothing else, scan that. And Tripper's appearance concepts/refs)...mainly because I pretty much love dragons. XD;; Also...I have plans if he became a Junkdragon...mainly to do with personality, how he acts and interacts...and stuff like that. Maybe the Shiva could have a 'Slay the Dragon' mission to go after him XD The plan could also work with the Lupine morph. Not AS well, but it still probably would. >.> If he somehow morphed, it would probably be around the personality stage of Bargaining, and force him into his acceptance stage. Ideally, anyways. If he did so earlier...well, that would just make his progression through the Stages even more interesting >] Any effects of the morph (appearance and such) would be up to Ghost. (second memo: Make a list of 'bugs' to nix if you end up being able to get the morph)
-Cannablism. I thought this would be overkill too, but not one I'm willing to totally throw out. I think, later in the acceptance stage, if he got a specific 'taste' for .exe, it would be amusing to say the least if he went mostly cannibal, actively (but subtly!) seeking out .exe to nibble on- more so than the average junkeater would. If I went with this, I'd probably nix another 'bug' to cut down on overkill.
-Death. This is the last Tentative idea I have right now. One that is closest to being 'reality'. I have an idea, right from the beginning, to make him fated to die through some way. Be it by one of the Shiva.exe, mercy deactivation (by a shiva or someone else?), through injury, through an accident, or through just deteriorating enough...I have the notion of him dying. It'd be cool for plot and RP, if nothing else, and kind of realistic since Junkeaters don't seem like they'd be long-lived XD; I know I'd have to get it okayed, and it wouldn't happen for awhile (he'd get through the Five Stages first, at least), but it's an idea I kind of think is interesting. :B
-I tell a lie. The name bank is the last tentative idea I have. Tripper seems more like a nickname, though I am fond of it XD Other possible names: Serge/Surge (I...can't explain that. I just like the name), Five/Fiver (reference to the Five Stages). That's it. Anyways, this is just here for my reference in case I want to choose a better name or whatever.
