[ GUILD UPDATE ] – 3.11.07 – The First Ever Event Thread

indentI hope your weekend's going well, ladies. This week will be a busy one for our guild. We're getting
indentready for the guild's first ever Ladies Only Guild hang-out thread at a Gaian event, so please take
indentthe time to post your suggestions and opinions here after you've read through the news!

The Guild Mule

indentOur members have always donated a lot of gold to the Guild Account, and, before I continue, I want
indentto thank you all for your generosity. Without you, we could never have done so much! However, I
indentrecently learned that, at the moment, gold in the Guild Account can only be used to buy subforums.
indentFor now, the Guild Account cannot fund guild-hosted events such as give-aways, contests, and lottos.

indentFortunately, according to the Gaian Guild Network, we can use a mule to hold gold and items. I made a
indentguild mule for this very purpose. You can find her here, under the username [mule] Ladies Only Guild.
indentPlease add this mule to your Friends Lists, so that, if necessary, we can notify guild members via
indentPrivate Message. From now on, please send all your donations to the guild mule.

The Event Thread

indentThe Extraordinary Lauren first suggested a guild thread in every Gaian event back in January. We will
indenthost our first official guild thread in the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration this week. The event will be a
indenthang-out for members, where we can raise awareness about our guild, and about our upcoming
indentpetition for NPC’s with more diverse body types.

indentGuild members and other female Gaians will also be able to sign up to win great items in the
indentgive-aways, and maybe enter a contest or two for even more cool prizes. Members who joined before
indentthe event began will have two chances at winning a Gift of the Goddess.

indentTo make this all happen, the guild needs your help! I bought four Gifts of the Goddess with my own
indentgold and am all tapped out for now! The next post will list items we need, and other easy ways you
indentcan pitch in!

Ugh, busy. Our Algebra teacher tossed a sudden test on us this week, and then I had this stupid World History test to finish so I can take the final, and my teacher in that class is being a jerk...

Well, I guess that means we'll have more time to have a really, really great event thread for Easter.

Plus, all the items I collected are pastels, so it works.
