*ahem* personaly I think Hayate would have gone on to tell Hokage, then Hokage would have sent a decoy in his place (ruining Orochimaru's plans), then Orochimaru would leave & search for the real Hokage. Then, *cough*hack* when he found where he was hiding *cough*cough*choke* he'd be ambushed by the ninjas Hokage gathered to protect him. 3nodding As for wether the ambush would work or fail is unknown though stare Oh & uhh... Hayate would have been @ the exam insted of Genma (the toothpick guy) but... uhh... yeah toothpick guys cool too sweatdrop
Also uhh... *coughs* do you think he'd got better or worse later if he lived? (I'm wondering if I'm gonna get better or worse myself too actually)

Well...if he HAD survived...I'd be very happy. But I think Genma would be the proctor anyway, since I think Hai only has the prelems (prelimnary matches) and Gen would get the other ones.
I donno what would've happened...Maybe Orochimaru's plans whould have be runied so bad he wouldn't have to kill Zaku (and I'd be even MORE happy ^^)
