Sorry, we would not be very good tour guides. We have only lived here in TO for a few years and have no vehicles of any sorts. Nevermind our strange nightly schedules. You would be better off taking one of the many tour guides that are available throughout the city. They can show you all around and be a lot more informative then the two of us. Plus they will show you more then just the Downtown Core. You can go to Niagara Falls and everywhere else.
Well, Have a fun trip. Try to visit during the months of May - Sept for the best weather, we get lots of ran during the spring and fall out here. Also there is Pride weekend at the end of June, if I remember correctly. Well have a safe trip and sorry we can't be of much help.

ffdarkangel I was wondering, but what do you do for a living? What you see if my living. I am disabled so am stuck at home with my sweetie. As such I've become a full time writer and artist while dabbling on our website from time to time. These forums are part of what the both of us do for a living now. When we are not working on other things we try to find other ways to help out people. Then there are the lectures and conventions and what have you. We are generally very busy people. We just don't have your conventional jobs. LOL Kt-Chi - If you are coming up through Detroit you will enter the more populated section of Canada. Niagara Falls is actually on the Canadian side. The US side is called Horse Shoe Falls, but few realize this. It is only a few hours drive from Toronto. I'll post about Pride Toronto in the Events area later, when we know the exact date. It is usually at the end of June, right before Canada Day. Canadian note: Nova Scotia is over by Maine, if that helps any. Well, I wish you the best on your trip. jaa ne Kat

Firescares CANADA DAY!!!?? what the heck is that? It is like your Independence day without the wars. We became a free country by just asking to be treated as such. It happened before WWII and we still considering ourselves a part of Britain, but we are in fact our own nation. The Queen sometimes visits and what have you. Canada is a celebration of everything Canadian. It is also the day that they schedule the most Canadian immigrations to become official Canadians and have a big ceremony for them. It is a lot of fun and Kim and myself never miss it. Canada day is held on July the 1st. We can actually see the July 4th celebrations in the States from across the water. That is how close we are to you. Kt-Chi - Detroit is in Michigan and is right on the Canadian Boarder. However if you are planning to come to Toronto, seeing as there is not much of anything around Detroit, you should come through Pennsylvania, then through New York to the Niagara crossing. It is the busiest crossing in the area, but you will get to see the falls as you come up to Toronto. We are just around the eastern side of Lake Ontario. There should be signs from Niagara that will lead you straight to Toronto. A really easy drive actually. Kim's parents like to take that route when coming to visit and they are from Rhode Island so have much further to go. Well, I wish you well on your trip. Are you planning to drive or to bus it? Kat
