Has any Christian ever been like, "I feel sorry for you because you don't know God", or even "You should give Christianity a chance, you may turn back to the person everyone use to like"? Just curious is all.

All the time...it's annoying when they tell me they love me like a sister when they don't even know me. Or that I'm missing out on their great mind-controlling religion. Christianity scares me...

Arrow_of_Sutekh awesomelegend Will you accept Christ and come to church? If that answer is yes, then pray this prayer with me: "Jesus Christ, thank you for dying on the Cross to cancel out my wrongs. Come into my heart and give me a relationship with God the Father." If you prayed this prayer, then congratulations! You are now a child of God! I challenge you to come to church. Then watch as Christ meets your deepest needs. And if you order now, we'll throw in a free toaster! rofl A friend of mine having a similar argument. It made me laugh in real life so I thought I'd share it.

One of the most irritating flaws in Christian proselytizing. Firstly, most of us have usually come from a Christian background, and have given it a test run, only to find that we are unhappy with it.
People have tried to reason that with me, my mother included, as she did recently learn about my choice of religious paths. Though that kind of reasoning is not rational in the least bit, nor is it "fair" reasoning.
Essentially, if you do not believe in God nor in Jesus, you cannot suddenly decide to believe in him one day out of the blue, just for a test run. You would need to spend some time convincing yourself of something that you currently accept as a lie. It is the equivalent to asking a Christian to suddenly stop believing in either of the aforementioned figures at will, just to test-drive atheism. If they firmly believe that there is a God, they will need to give quite a bit of effort to convince themselves otherwise.
And why would anyone put so much effort towards something that they do not desire?

*warning: post post out of normal format* Benito Davidovich Has any Christian ever been like, "I feel sorry for you because you don't know God", or even "You should give Christianity a chance, you may turn back to the person everyone use to like"? Just curious is all. Quite a few times actually. And though my reply was always short and simple, I seldom felt confused and angry. I would think, "Why would you say such a thing? I thought your kind didn't have time for 'devil followers'." or "Don't you think if I thought God wasn't so full of it, I'd jump on the bandwagon? Keep your soda crackers and grape juice and leave me alone!". But then again, it's a rare occurrence mind you, but sometimes I even feel special when some random Bible-thumper walks up and talks to me. I like the attention when I get cought in the middle of the grocery store and they're talking lourder than normal about "the joys" of blindly conforming to the words of a hypocrite. Even if they are trying to sway me out of my ways, it's nice to think that they were willing to spend, even the smallest amount of time on me in their busy lives. Ta13oo Maybe we should give it a chance? *bows head* Dear God... please save us from your "good" people, amen. Oh, I have. Before my devoted choice to persue a path and knowledge in Satanism, I honestly tryed to see the reason in asking God what brand of coffee I should buy when I was confused... Needless to say, I bought water instead... Astarze All the time...it's annoying when they tell me they love me like a sister when they don't even know me. Or that I'm missing out on their great mind-controlling religion. Christianity scares me... EXACTLY! I hate that... But it's not christians that scare me. It's the the constant thought that somewhere within the cobwebbed corners of there mind is a good person who, by my standards, has thrown away their life for the promis of a peacful existance in a place that no one can proove is real. PirateEire One of the most irritating flaws in Christian proselytizing. Firstly, most of us have usually come from a Christian background, and have given it a test run, only to find that we are unhappy with it. Aye, good thing christianity isn't a stripper, or half the world would want their money back...

Yes, all the time. But I just chose to ignore it. And when I was catholic, for the sake of my family, I was hated more.

I actually get those annoyances weekly, if not daily, at my school because there are a couple of guys and girls that are just sooooo devoted. They bring their bibles to school, crosses, jesus-t-shirts, the works...
And Demonya and I get in trouble for bringing a Satanic Bible to school, not talking to anyone about our religion [except for each other], and wearing black jackets that have a baphomet on the back.
Where is the justice?

Where is the justice? How rude. I think the same would happen at my school if I were to bring my bible. & I dress nothing like a satanist, or being all dark or anything. I don't even have satanic written all over me. So it'd be a big shock for people.

I like to think that people are just too stupid to understand/want to understand or they are jealous of how pretty we are. xD I'm such an odd cookie.

Where is the justice? Where is the Justice? in the a** of the supposed "wonderful Christian" communities that plague this Damn Earth. I say, -removed- , they have no right to force their religion on to you, next time they do it, give'em the finger and tell'em Satan sent it to them. Edited by [ Hellfire ]. No religion bashing.
