This is the town of Falderbrun a small town on the shady side of a mountain. In this town live what appears to be normal humans, however in the woods to the north of the town live Wood Elves, magical immortals who are tiny but quick and good with a bow. To the south of the town are the Altimira caves, where the undead live, and feed on lost souls, these beautiful vampiric immortals never stray far from their camp..unless forced.
In the town the King has made an announcement that five warriors are needed, his daughter has been kidnapped by people who were in head to toe robes clouded in smoke he claims they were using some alien magic to kidnap her. He is offering an enormous amount of money for the five brave souls who will attempt to save her.
The only catch is the King's chancelour was the robe clad mages run off with her in the direction of the mountain, a place where all town members know not to venture. The magic forests are full of traps and dangerous creatures magical creatures, however you do know of a temple in the middle of the forest on the mountain where you think they will take here.
Who here is Strong enough to save the young princess, collect a large reward, and go down in history as one of the best fighters in all the land?

It was a cold lonely June night for anyone outside the Red Sparrow Tavern and Inn, a sturdy building nestled in the heart of Faulderbrun, a small mountain side town. The sign that hung above the door swung gently in the breeze letting out a faint groan. There was a portal cut into the door so you could see directly inside and the rows of long table seated at the majority of them were citizens of the town basking in the torch lit glow and conversing with friends over a fresh pint. Robin the Bar Maid worked the floor like a pro, winking at all the right clients, and keeping the beer flowing. Everyone loved Robin. Edward leaned lazily behind the desk, looking at the Inn ledger no one had checked in for a room this past week, or the week before that, Falderbrun was not much of a tourist town.
In the private rooms to the right where the regulars spent their time was a rowdy group of seven militia soldiers, their Sargent in the middle yo-ho-hoing with the rest of them. Empty pitchers piled to the floor as the men laughed with their Elven leader. The Sargent was a beautiful half Elven fighter who had lived in this town form nearly two centuries. Quickly proving herself loyal of a position she was put in charge of the king's army and through grueling training molded them into a force to be reckoned with. Despite the closed door the loud roars of laughter bled into the main room though no one dare tell Burgundy and her men to quiet down.
A small robe clad mage made his way swiftly through the front door, moving around the tables with such methodical precision. The stranger's name was Tao Black, a wandering magic user seeking answer from some of the bar patrons. Edward arched an eyebrow as the young man meekly walked up to the table where One Eyed Charles sat a patch over his left eye and a chip on his jaw. "What'dya want?" He spit at the robe clad figure.
An elite solider named Enzeru walked into the clinic such presence surrounded such a trained fighter as he walked up to Edward. "You need a room?" Edward asked so surprised he nearly knocked his chair over as he stood up. The fighter crossed his arms and arched a brow at Edward right as Robin scooted past the stranger to get to the kegs in the storage room. "Sorry pudd'n." She said with a wink.
Robin walked by a table where a traveler sat his feet propped up on the bench. "Need another?" She asked as she headed to the bar to refill her tray. She blew a kiss at Sparks catching his off guard his feet thudded to the floor. His response muffled by a large thunder of laughter to the right, Robin looked at the closed door. "Oh don't mind that, it's just a few local soldiers and their Sargent having a good time." She said with a warm smile. "Now about that oof" She said as she bumped into a man at the counter talking to the Inn manager.
The lights from the end seemed daunting and yet inviting to the half vampire warloc as he walked through the otherwise desolate town. As he pushed open the door, he was greeted with two rows of table three to a row where there sat assorted clientèle of the bar. To his right were three closed doors behind which a great deal of laughter and warm hearted jests could be hear. And to his left a desk behind which seemed to be a rather shocked Inn keep at the number of drifters entering the lonely Inn.
What none of these unsuspecting individuals knew was that in some tragically cosmic way their paths would soon cross and they would rely on one another for their sheer survival...but until then...

"One, Two, Three....Go!" A gruff voiced roared over the noise of drunken soldiers. Three burly looking men and one odd looking woman grabbed their pints with a hearty grin and began to chug. With a succession of four loud thuds the empty pints landed face down on the table top. The owner of the gruff voice who had started the race squinted his dark brown eyes a scar trailing across the left side of his face, this old weathered blacksmiths name was Ragnar. With a large smile on his face he loudly proclaimed "And for a fifth time our winner is Sargent Burgundy!" A thunder of applause ripped through the everyone seated at the table, many middle aged men leaned over and patted the Sargent on the shoulders. With a grin Burgundy threw her chair back and with much grace and poise stood up quickly stretching her arms high into the air pointy elven ears twitching as she let out a loud burp. "What a night eh boys?" She said with a smirk. As she walked to the door cracking it open and yelling across the bar "Robin! Another round for me and the boys!" A loud cheer rang from behind her. "Alright shug be right there." Came the sing song voice of the bar maid.
Burgundy used this opportunity to cast a wary eye across the bar making sure all was normal she stopped briefly on the man seated at one of the middle tables, he was obviously a fighter, with his feet propped up on the bench she moved on seeing as how he was preoccupying Robin. She then glanced to the robe clad mage bothering Ole' One-eye Charles "That's a brave son of a b***h." She said with a chuckle. Then she looked towards Edward's desk two very suspicious very unfarmiliar men stood at the counter. She arched a brow and stepped an armor clad boot out the door it thud as it hit the ground. "Ed...?" She said a look of concern on his face. He simply looked over their heads at her and gave her a smile reassuring her things were fine. Her mind at ease, she turned back to Robin. "I'm coming hon, I promise." That reassuring her that she would surely enjoy the drunken night she turned off soldier mode and began to walk back inside towards her noisy men as they sang a hearty drinking song and waited for their pints.

As Burgundy went to her room with her fello soldiers Sparks wanted to know who she was.He turned to ask the bar maid but then he remembered that she was giving Burgundy's men some more drinks. Sparks than signs and pulls he feet off the table. His feet slammed to the ground that it shock the floor beneath him but the others were in their fun it is like they did not even feel what was going on. So Sparks stood up put the money down for the bar maid on the table plus a tip.He began to glance around the room that he was thinking was like a prison> The reason he thought so was because how quiet it was. He then thought about that girl in the back room and how those men called her sargent. He looked towards the room to where this so called sargent and he just simpily let out a little sigh. Saprks then started to think of going to ask the sargent if she knew a place for him to stay.He then gt so shocking and trembling thoughts that she may get those men to jump him. The other thought was that she would try to fight him. He then decided there is just one way to find out. So he began to walk towards the other part of the Inn but he did not walks fast he walked very slowly. Sparks then was entering the part of the Inn to where he saw this so called sargent and her men he supposed. The bar maid noticed him over and tries to whisper,"what are you doing over here?" Sparks tried to say something but right when the bar maid let out those words, the men and sargent turned and looked at Sparks. They ahd the look of curious and hat. Sparks then decides this was a bad time to ask questions. So Sparks turned around and leaned aganinst a wall.

"Who the hell are you?" Said a low female voice. Followed by the thunk of a pint hitting the table. "These rooms are reserved for regulars only." She eyeballed the stranger "And you ain't not regular." She spat a wad of tobacco into the spittoon on the floor, and then began to ignore him by turning back to her men and pulling out a deck of cards. The night had just begun and she wasn't about to stop having fun to entertain an apparently lost stranger. "I said get out of here." She growled not even looking up from her cards a weakling like him didn't concern someone of her power and importance.

(( ^^* Sorry I'm late!))
Tao had walked into the bar some few odd minutes ago. His purpose? Information simply, but what he had assumed would be a simple errand turned out to be a tad bit harder then what he had in mind. Finding the place was easy as it was entering...that's when it got slightly difficult. A large jug of bear was thown in his direction, nearly nicking his cheak, from someother rough-housing arguement that had been taking place at the time of his arrival. He inwardly sighed, 'Neh...maybe I should have picked a more peacefull gather place.' The mage mussed thoughtfully. But he had little choise, reason being this was currently most lively place in town and the most likely place to find information on what he was looking for. What you ask? Tao had sudden taken an interest in a certain type of mythril that could be easily crafted and looked quite beautiful. Being that it was his little sister's birthday soon he had all the more reason to pursue it...there was one problem...he had no clue where to find such a thing. And with only a week left he was running short on time and options.
And that's how he found himself here, infront of a somewhat irritaded middle aged man with an eye patch. Tao was told that if he needed to know something strange or important this 'Ole One Eyed Charlie' was the man to see. He smiled, doing his best to appear his normal friendly self even in this new and somewhat dangerous place. "So, do you know anyting about the item I have in question and its location?" Tao asked, still slightly nervous.

Yo ho ho and a bottle of Rum. The old man sighed as he looked disgruntled at his reflection in the muggy beer. He downed the rest of the cup quickly. Those damn soldiers. He though to himself, always making a fuss and a hoot over everything. He grumbled and looked around for Robin. "Even that tramp is too busy to pay attention to me." He muttered. Then he heard it a meek voice from his right stammering on about mythril, surely this stranger was out of place...he rolled his one eye up to get a better look at this young fellow. A small timid mage stood before him. "Do I know where to find Mythril? Ha!" He chuckled. "Might as well have buried it there myself." He grinned dirty yellow teeth decorating his face. "But the thing is I'm a little hard of remembering if ya know what I mean." He laughed a little and shot a glance at Robin. For this, he'd need another beer.

Tao gave another nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head. If the man ment something along the lines of money persuasion...well he didn't have enough left, but perhaps enough for a drink. "Um...would you like me buy you a drink? I don't have much but if you will give me the location of the mythil I'd be glad to do so." He smiled in spite of himself, not even really sure if his polite and 'calm' persona was helping anything. Tao's attention was suddenly turned to a rough looking military women arguing with another man. She didn't look to happy. Tao slightly shivered at the prospect of being near another impending bar fight. 'If I had known this was so troublesomely dangerous I would have reconsidered.' The mage thought, off in his own little world.

Sparks finally got his beer and chugged it like it was his last one that he will ever have for today.Finishing his beer he takes another look around the room.To him everything is just a little bit out of control in the Inn. He cnnot seem to ask the waitress for a room because evrytime he was about to open his mouthe a regular needed more wine. Sparks gave a short glare into to the room. He finally signed a said to himself "they can not help themselves." Sparks finally just puts his feet in a comfortable position on the table and pulls his hat over his eyes.Sparks then drifts into a little sleep which seemed impossible with all of the nosie and racket going around. Still he managed to get into a peaceful postion to drift into a low and soundless sleep.

Burgundy grinned as the man walked away from their table. It was a game of cards and she never went home poor. She flicked a short smile at Ragnar and then her tall elven ears twitched...she caught just the tail end of it...Mythril She half way closed her eyes as she began to overhear ole one-eye telling this stranger about the magical tree in the forest. "Charles." She said not moving from her table but she said it firmly. The man immediately grew quite and receded into is pitcher of ale. She looked to Ragnar, "Some people just don't know when to shut up." She laid down 4 aces and thought to herself damn i'm good.

The young mage spoke of ale, not money but it didn't matter to Charles free was free is his book. "Mythril is it that you seek?" He asked the words sliding off his tongue as if they were a snake. "Mythril is not a stranger to these parts, and yet as you can see even our finest soliders..." He looked over his shoulder to Burgundy's room then looked back at Tao. "wear only banded armor and nothing more." he took a sip of his ale, how it soothed the burning in his throat. "It is far too perilous to go into the woods alone..." "Charles." Came the firm voice of Burgundy the Sargent, damn those elven ears of hers, she had obviously overheard him giving town information to a stranger. He quickly ceased his conversation and buried his life in the bottom of a bottle.
Robin looked at the young gentleman, "Excuse me miss, but do you serve wine here?" she laughed, "Shug, there ain't nothing we don't serve here." She winked at him. "i'll go get you a bottle." And with a twirl she turned around and headed to the storage room. She may just be a humble bar maid, but she felt the tension mounting between Sargent Burgundy and Charles you could cut it with a knife...what had he said....?
Alfred had searched the barracks and her home the last place in all of town to find the Sargent was the tavern, and with the constant alcohol in her system he didn't know he didn't check there first. He burst through the door, the charter held tightly in his shaking hands. Edward stood up from behind the desk in protest until he recognized Alfred's face. "Alfred?" He inquired "You look like death!"
Alfred shook his head, too tired to speak. He shot a glance back to Sargent Burgundy's private room at the Tavern and sure enough there she was the entire section of the tavern was roaring with laughter. "Must...speak...with...the Sargent." He clasped the letter close to his aching heart. Edward motioned towards the back room but didn't move he could tell something was wrong.
Alfred pushed past a sleeping solider with his feet propped up on the table, and spun past Robin bringing Wine to another stranger one-eye Charles was seated at a table conversing with a figure clad in robes and there she was laughing away with her finest men. "Sargent?" Alfred said trying to catch his breath. "You are needed at the palace the King's daughter Anora has been kidnapped by rogue dark mages and carried off towards the woods, we must band a team of warriors together to save her. The rewards will be amazing money, fame, glory, everything. However, this is no mission for your regular soldiers, you will be going through the mystic forest against experienced deranged wizards you need stronger fighters and maybe even some magic users of your own." The Sargent looked offended at being told who to bring with her into battle but as soon as Alfred showed her the piece of paper she gravely nodded and looked at Ragnar shaking her head as she walked to the door. Alfred looked around desperately he knew Burgundy would be back her love for her kingdom was larger than that of her love for her men. "Who in here will help us save the princess? Who is brave and strong?" He yelled to the entire tavern. "Who wants fame, glory, and more riches than you could ever imagine?" His heart beat quickly, and he waited.
