IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE:
Would you rather read Manga books?
or
Would you rather watch a Anime series?
Explain.
and Explain any exceptions youd make.

I spend more time reading manga than I do watching anime. However, there are some stories in which I like both the anime and manga. There are other stories where I like the manga and live action. If I watch the anime for one series sometime I won't read the manga. It really matters on my mood and the story if I'd choose the manga or the anime.

I'd pick anime out of the two, hands down. I watch 4+ hours of anime every week and I rarely read manga. I love manga but so many manga series have been turned into anime that I don't see much of a reason to choose manga of the two. I enjoy the audio and visual experience of an anime much more than still images on paper.
I sometimes run into the problem of not being able to tell what's happening or what it is i'm seeing in certain panels of manga. That's a problem you rarely run into with anime. Also, I love anime soundtracks which is a bonus. 3nodding

Hands down I'd go for manga. Yeah, I'd go out and buy the anime soundtrack to whatever series it is, but I absolutely hate how some anime aren't faaithful to their base manga series at all, with (dare I say it? It's an evil two words) filler episodes (*dies*) or how a movie version of an entire anime doesn't nearly cover the scope of the original series and stops making sense (Ahem, Escaflowne). There's something about directly translated, uncut manga that I think is much better than occasionally half-*ssed animation (Not saying it's that way all the time, but you'd be surprised how much the animators of Naruto screwed up to begin with- go watch the Naruto Bloopers on www.newgrounds.com).

I have to choose anime. i just prefer watching anime then read the manga. anime is what made me an otaku so i continue in that direction by watching like 6 hrs of anime everyday. i do read some manga but very few and it tends to be from an anime i really enjoyed but the anime ended before the manga like genshiken.
