So, when I turned 18, back in December 27th, I decided to go treat myself with my first piercing ever. I wanted a two hole spiral really bad, but at the piercing shop I went to (which was more of a tattoo parlor that had just open a piercing section), the piercer didn't have the needed jewelry, so I told him I wouldn't get anything, but then he started showing me magazines, just in case I might like any other piercing, and since my mum was looking at tattoos (she wanted to get a new one), I decided to at least take a look at the mags and see what was up. I ended up really liking the Helix Orbitals and the guy beamed when I told him I'd like one of those (mainly because he hadn't done them before and he needed someone to experiment on). I want to be a piercer, and I'll eventually get to make certain piercings for the first time, so I agreed on letting him do it since he told me he had done a Lobe Orbital with 10 gauge ring earlier. He told me to lay down on this bed-like thing and so I was chilled, trying not to think about the needle that was about to go through my helix, and I waited for like 10 minutes for him to get ready and do the whole measuring and marking and so it was time to get over with it. I felt the first one go through, and then the second one and then I could feel his hand shaking as he was trying to get the jewelry to go through both holes and at this point I got a little nervous, mainly because HE was nervous. He ended up telling me he would just put 2 BCRs in while they healed and that I could go visit him again in a few months and that he would change the jewelry for me and so I took his word, but I was still a bit frustrated, so I didn't go back to getting piercings with him and just yesterday I had to get the jewelry removed (after 4 months of constant infections and swelling) and I am now waiting for the holes to close up so I can go get what I originally wanted with Alexis, who is my new, AWESOME piercer and that one that's given me all my other piercings.
So, here are some pictures of my first piercing.
(When I first got it pierced)

(When I changed the jewelry the first time for smaller gauge rings)

(Two weeks before getting it removed, right after one of the barbels went right through my ear)

(The now healing holes, though you might not be able to see 'em very well, you'll be able to notice that it would've been pretty hard or even impossible to even try and turn it into an orbital. It is also really swollen still)

Fecking hot. Did it hurt? 'Cause I wouldn't mind having 'em done. In fact, it was also on my "list". xD Just, always too poor.

The Helix Orbitals? Well, he never got the job done completely, but piercing through the helix was just slightly painful, in my opinion. You DO feel the needle going through, but it is not some major pain that makes you cry or anything of the sort, hehe. It did hurt at some point during the aftermath, but... no crying matters, unless you get it hurt by perhaps... I don't know, someone accidentally punched you on it? xD

Beautiful. That's what I'm getting as soon as I get a job.
I could afford it now, but I want to have a job to back it up.
