OKay what I also like about Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden.. and some of this is going to be over your heads.. cuz I took a few psychology classes..
I like how Masashi Kishimoto (the creator) adds a lot of psychological background in the characters giving them more of a human feeling...
And adding so much into their life background to tell why the characters are the way they are... to the point you really can't hate certain characters.. like Zabuza and Haku... cuz you realized in the end that they were trying to do something, but in order to accomplish their goal and being outlaws.. they had to submit themselves to lower activities and defile themselves...
Also at first you think Choji is ooh some fat kid and all do the sterotype thinking of a fat kid... but in truth you realize when they show his background during his big fight with one of Ochimaru's top five warriors... that he's a really good gental hearted person.. And you end up feeling sorry for Choji and wanting at the very end of the battle for him to win and not die.
Same thing goes for Neji.. at first everyone hates him because of his attitude.. which is "I'm angry at the world for being handed the s**t-end of the deal"... yet when he meets Naruto and learns something valuable on what really happen.. he starts to look at life more positively and thinks.."Just because I'm stuck at the bottom or have the s**t-end deal of life, doesn't mean I'm going to let it rule me... I'm going to make something out of my life, despite what life gave me to deal with."
And you see that when he goes his battle with one of the five warriors... he realizes.. that there's no way he can dodge this last attack.. so might as well bit the bullet and take it head on and use it to your advantage on destroying the enemy.
Then you've got Naruto who's learn the hardship of life.. just like so many kids who's got no one that cares about them and thinks they'll end up being a delinquent and get in trouble with the law... but when there's a person who cares about you and loves you.. just that is enough to change someone's life around for the better and do something amazing with their life..
Heh in a way Naruto is like a therapist if you think about how he's able to understand the feeling of not being wanted, the s**t-end deal of life, and so on... to the point he's able to relate to others who feel that way and help them change their life around for the better...
So this is why I like Naruto cuz its got a lot of Psychological factors in it and makes the characters more human, by giving them a certain life background and using that to how the characters deal with certain situations..
Best example will be Sasuke who's life is completely messed up mentally and emotionally due to see his bro Itachi slaying their parents right in front of Sasuke's eyes... And by Sasuke running off with Ochimaru shows that he still can't let it go and follow in the darkness like his brother, when he could have go about doing it in a positive way.. and fighting to protect everyone he cares for.
Now I bet I've lost everyone here on just about everything I said...
sweatdrop sweatdrop Oh Well!!
