Hey, just joined, thought i would say hi. Im Mythos fan, though im a lot bigger on the Lovecraft stuff than any of the other authors to be honest.
I hope to get some role playing done here. uhm... I got nothing else to say. Here is an emoticon for your viewing pleasure...

hey, even lovecraft liked what derleth wrote, hell, half of what derleth wrote lovecraft was there influencing it (mytho-wise, i dont think he cared for the other crap derleth wrote)

Well sure, Lovecraft's mythos writing friends were great but when Stephen King tries to pump out some Cthulhu-based stories... I just don't think he's very good. He fails to scare me every time.

Derleth, the thing I don't really like about him is that he divided the gods between "good" and "evil", while originally they were supposed to be beyond all that.

(good and evil are human concepts... Elder Gods aren't human... So they don't care!)

I'm not sure which Stephen Kings are mythos but I heard a few were.

I'm not sure which Stephen Kings are mythos but I heard a few were.
Just some of his short stories, only one is a fully a mytho, the others just make refrence, usually to the necronomicon
