As the school year approaches, the Ministry of Magic would like to let you know that they wish all students a good year. Despite the troubles the Ministry has been facing with the remnants of the Death Eaters, they cannot help but to insure that safety precautions at Hogwarts have been taken, and students will have no problems. The Ministry would also like you to know that Diagon Ally will have the customary Aurors patrolling around, and any suspicious actions will be looked into.
As students do their shopping for the new year, Olivander's Wands is giving away a free Firebolt to a lucky customer. If you are interested, please go to his shop and enter the raffle.... ...... the article goes on about sales and deals that you can find at Diagon Alley.

Headline reads the following-
Mysterious Death-Ministry Perplexed
Last night in London, a muggle by the name of Stephen East was murdered in his sleep. He has obviously been killed by magical mean, says Auror Smith, but what, or who killed him we do not know.
The ministry advises that no one panic. 'All our forces have been put up to catch the murderer, and there is no need to worry. We will get to the bottom of this, and see to it that it is stopped.' -Minister of Magic.

Hey, look at this!---
The Ministry of Magic has traced the murder of East down to a few suspects, all of which are being held at Azkaban until the hearings. Names will not be disclosed.
However, three more muggles have been murdered since Mr.East, including one 15 year old....(continues)

Posted in the train were clips from the prophet. It caused distress among some students, and led other to becom suspicious of the girl who was on the train in this family..... Azkaban Breakout-
connection to recent murders? Recently news has reached the Daily Prophet that another Azkaban escape has occured. Thefirst in several years, the Ministry does not seen to worried. They are however, offering a reward for the whereabouts of Lucious Malfoy. He was taken in as a Death eater a few years ago, and has broke free and seemingly vanished. Any information on him is to be sent directly to the Minister. Malfoy escaped two one week ago today, and they discovered him gone at 3:00am. Though security levels are high, guards were found stunned, and two killed. Any information hereafter will most likely be confidential, but we at the Prophet will keep readers up to date as much as possible.
The one disstressing thing that comes out of all this, is the fact that the day after he broke out was the day of the East murder that was discovered late that night. Malfoy is a suspect, but seeing as how he cannot be found, Aurors have no way of knowing. ......

This morning at seven twenty three, the school of Durmstrang was attacked my a group of wizards. They all wore black, and covered their faces. Two students have gone up missing, as well as 34 injured. Then men struck, and left before the ministry could reply. Top Aurors have not found anything to track the men with, but assume that this is connected with the Azkaban breakouts.
Later this morning, the Ministry will have a hearing with some of the eyewitnesses at the school and attempt to draw out some useful information. Until deemed safe for students, the school will have no classes, and students must stay within the school ground. If necessary, they will be sent home.

A week into the new school year, and no more schools have been attacked. However, There have been reports of missing people, and mysteriously murdered humans and creatures alike being found without a trace of those who did it. WE have no more leads as to who is behind the attacks....
