We don't celebrate St Patrick's Day in New Zealand, in all honesty, I'm not ven sure WHAT it's celebrating, bar the fact it has something to do with the Irish? Anywho, this lucky 4 leaf clover thing - why? Why is a 4 leaf clover lucky? And what does everyone think of the items?

St. Patrick's Day is to celebrate St. Patrick, who converted Ireland to Catholicism. I think. We drink on this day because that is the perceived stereotype of the Irish. I drink on St. Patrick's Day because I am half Irish and damned happy about it.
Four-leaf clovers are concidered to be lucky because they are uncommon enough to not usually find one without looking for a long time, while common enough for most people to have seen one (provided one lives in a region that can support clovers).
And the items are fine, provided that I can collect some and sell them in my quest for a devil tail.

Infernal is Canadian, but no Americans don't get a holiday for St. Patrick's day. I heard that the leaves on the four leaf clover stand for something, but I forgot what it was. Something like love, virtue, honesty and hope...I dunno. It was on the radio when I was half-asleep. XD

Most of the holidays that you've mentioned not being a big deal in NZ are only a big deal in North America and Europe because of commercialism. XD

Blue is my second favorite color. As for purple, I don't mind it, my birthstone is a purple color, and my school colors were silver and purple.

I love purple too. I painted the nursury purple because it's the closest to a gender - inspecific color i could find. I feel bad now because a few younger people have come in and said it's a girls room -_-
