Might be risky, but try inflating some kiki's pitchforks, and other items in that range.

it's a tough choice what to invest in. A good idea would be to invest in some older items or items that seem to be steadly increasing

And never. I repeat. Never! Spend all your gold on ONE thing. unless you know for sure that your going to make a profit right away.
Try to use your gold in different places. Maybe a little in 2006's and a little in 2007's. Like I said, work with what people want. Browse the exchange for threads with items from 06 and 07. See which get the most replys, or most offers.
