I have done some research, and Kyuu is a cabbit o_O
cat + rabbit = cabbit = kyuu?
Definition of cabbit: a half rabbit half cat creature popular in anime; some times magical.

I thought he is more of the floppy eared rabbit as Daisuke said to his friends one time.
and the cabbit creature I think that one is Ryoki from Tenchi Muyo! anime. xd
