You are brought before the council of elders. These are the oldest, and wisest of your clan. They are calling you for an unknown task. As you walk into the room, it is dark, with four light candles. There is one large bonfire in the center of the room as well, lighting up everything else. You stand in front of the large fire, seeing the elders through the flames. They await your introduction.

"Lords and Ladies, I am Shihoudani, Reiha." Reiha bows repectfully. "I have come into your presence to seek an office among your fighters."

"You wish to be a fighter, do you? You think you are ready for such a task? Do you think you can stand up to the waters, and burn them?" One elder responds. He has burns all over his body, a sign of great power and oneness with fire.
"Do you posses the flame inside you? If you do not, then you are of no use to use." Another old man says, shaking a fist at the idea of a person not gifted with the flame.
The other two just remain silent.

"I would not be here if I didn't." She smiles and just infront of the one who asked about her gifts burst into flame, almost singeing his hair.

One of the two silent ones starts to speak. "Spiteful. Very good. We may need to in the coming months." He seems to speak as though you aren't even there.
"You insignifigent.." The elder you almost singed started to say, but was quickly interrupted by the elder on the far right.
"Ah, so you do have the gift. That is most useful." The one with all the burns say.
The last remaining elder that had not spoken yet starts to speak. He is almost whispering, and you can barely hear him over the crackle of the fire. "You are needed on a most urgent mission. Lately, our relations with our allies, the great Air Tribe, has become strained. It almost seems like we are talking to two different people. We need you to go there, and show them our support for their efforts. We also need you to guard the shipments of rice we are sending to them, then to guard the shipment back, when it has been filled with the ores we need."

Seiha places her right hand over her heart and bows again. "I am grateful to be of use for you all." She stands up straight. "Would that be all?"

"Yes. You know what must be done. May the day fire burn brightly for you." With the traditional farewell spoken, the council dismisses you.
(You can have an NPC friends if you want, at least untill more people join.)

(You can make the whole thing in a different thread. Label it as you wish. Don't forget to meet up with your NPC buddies, or other players if you can find them. Just say at the bottom of your post that you moved to whatever thread you head to, so people can tell you aren't here anymore.) Merlyn steps into the council of elders and kneels before the master of his clan.
"Merlyn Aranos, reporting for orders as requested by the council, Sirs."
Merlyn looked around and saw the elder grim faces looking down at him.
