I was trying to narrow it down from The Smiths (and I hadn't even started on Kill Hannah yet) and I had two pages on word in a couple of minutes.
I'll thin it out sweatdrop
But deffinately from The Smiths, "How Soon Is Now" was my first song and probably has some of my favourite lyrics

Ooo, a Bayside fan! I found their lyrics to Synonym For Acquiesce on an avatar and now I've been listening to much of their music.
I also like the lyrics to Laid by James. It is a really perky song and it's been in my head for ages. And any lyrics from the Dresden Dolls are always really pretty.

I love all of that, esp the Green Day and MCR ones.
To the Bayside fan, yeah, they have amazing lyrics. And I agree about Dresden Dolls, though I've only heard a few of their songs...
