RULESLITERACY
is a must. If you're not the best speller in the world, and you have a few dangling clauses here and there, that's fine. I don't expect you to be a God/Goddess of grammar. However, I do expect you to be coherent and cohesive. Take pride in your words.
PG-13
Gaia and myself could not stress this enough. I realize that many, many Gaians are underage. For this reason, we must be conscious of what we're teaching kids. Cursing is allowed, but keep it to a minimum. Sexual innuendo, flirting, and so on is fine as long as it is not, in any way, overly graphic. E-sexing and such is prohibited.
RESPECT
Every member of this soon-to-be Guild deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of sexual orientation, political standing, race, gender, social class, etc. The minute I find or hear that this rule is being broken, I will act. This is a pet peeve of mine, so watch out. Joking around is fine. Teasing, flaming, bullying, arguing, and being overly offensive is not.
*Please note: there is a difference between debating and arguing. I'm all for debates, just keep it clean.

I reserve the right to add, remove, or edit any and all rules at any time. If I make any changes, I will make it known. That's all I can think of at the moment. But you all know what's expected anyway, right? [:

The SubforumsSince we're still getting situated, the Main Forums will be for Roleplay Threads only. The Subforums will be have extra features, like the OOC Subforum where you can all chat with each other.
Not only that, but the Favored Five (the first five members that joined the guild) will be hosting their own subforums!
To create a subforum:
Donate to the Guild (at least 1250 to the FF, 2500 for non-FF members). The rest is coming out of the Guild's pocket, so the more you can donate the better!
Have a Moderator buy the subforum.
If you are a Crew member, manage away! If not, have a Mod or Crew member add any announcements or stickies that you need.
The purchase of subforums is limited. All Favored Five are guaranteed one each. Any more requests after that will be strictly considered, not guaranteed.PLEASE NOT THAT IF THE SUBFORUMS BECOME INACTIVE FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, NO MATTER WHO IT BELONGS TO, THE TOPIC AND/OR OWNERSHIP WILL BE CHANGED.

PG-13;I'm the kind of person that pushes PG-13 to it's limits. I'm old enough to join the military or buy my own booze - so nothing really phases and/or bothers me, however; there are things that bothers others. I am a firm believer in not grossing/offending someone unless I get something out of it, and I gain nothing by grossing out little kids on an online RPing site. Anyway; this is where I'll go over a few ground rules on what is/is NOT allowed in your threads here in this guild. Of course, always follow Gaia ToS. Swearing; In a PG-13 movie, you can only say the word cranky. I don't care if you say "naughty" words, as long as it a) doesn't offend your readers and b) isn't used in excessive amounts.
Sexual Content;
If you get offended by the term sandy v****a, then you're being a sandy v****a and need to skedaddle. As far as sex goes, there is NONE OF THAT. It will NOT be tolerated by ME or by Gaiaonline. Do NOT take to PMs, don't do it on the threads, don't do it at all. If you need to satisfy your sexual urges on the internet, look up some porn and do it in the privacy of your own spinning chair. We do not want little kids sending us PMs asking, how do babies get made? I cannot stress this enough. NO CYBER!
Violence;
Okay. I know it's cool to hit someone in the face, and describe the sickening sounds of how the blood gushed out and splattered all over the wall, but.. keep everyone's appendages and bodily fluids intact. I don't mind a little blood here and there, but anything more detailed than a foreign vase is not allowed.
Any violations of these rules or any Gaia ToS rules that I may have missed will result in immediate removal from the guild as well as being reported. You will receive, and I'm very serious on this: One warning. If you get a little carried away, this is okay. It will make me cranky, but it is okay. I will forgive you only once.
