System: Sea of Stars (Gaia Saga Universe)
Game Setting: 100 years after the last Sea of Stars game, so after the fall of the powerful Imperial government known as the "Hegemony". There is no current universal government and each planet is responsible for its own laws and regulations. Piracy and Raids have increased dramatically in space and world-wide slavery is a major issue.
Summary: The Hegemony has fallen due to the combined efforts of a few underdog heroes and their galactic friends. This was originally done to save the galaxy from tyranny and free every planet to do as they wish. Unfortunately, this idea backfired, and over the course of a century, has caused more harm then good, as piracy increases due to the lack of a large military fighting force, meaning that county hunters and galactic enforcers are in high need. And that is of course your role, you can either take the side of the much-outnumbered good guys and save the innocent from plunderous cut throats, join the ranks of the pirates and wage war across the galaxy, or live the life of a neutral civilian and just go with the glow.
How to Play: Each player will take on the role of a single character, and will fill put a short character sheet that will include the characters name, age, gender, race, property, money and items (the last three will be filled out by me.). They will then roleplay as their characters in the universe of "Sea of Stars" and the game master will provide them with storyline and plot changes when needed.
Scenario One Setting: The players have all decided to visit the giant luxury vessel "Cormulis", as it is the latest casino ship in the universe, and the first publicly open vessel of its type in a hundred years. The players are all there for their own reasons, whether it be for good ones or sinister ones. There is a lot of wealthy people on the "Cormulis", as well as a vastly large vault of money located on one of the seventeen decks. Also available on the ship is its very own town on the first twelve decks, a variety of hotels for those staying at it, and an industrial area that produces the OD energy needed to power it.
