Which do you prefer out of the movies and albums?
Personally I think Tommy is a way better movie, it's humorous, its got cheesy special effects, plus The Who actually act in it. What could be better?
Quadrophenia is probably my favorite album out of the two, as a whole. Its more consistent with less filler, in my opinion.

Speaky Zeep It was the album that got me into them. Same here, it was the first Who album I listened to from start to finish, and I was hooked ever since.

I'd say Tommy for the movie and even though the album was the thing that got me into the Who i prefer Quadrophenia. Just everytime i listen to it i think to myself That is why i love The Who.

I'd have to say Quadrophenia for both album and movie because I was first introduced to The Who through that movie. That and, as cheesy as it is, driving the scooter off the cliffs of Dover is one of my favourite all time movie scenes. It's something that'll always stick with me as just plain awesome.

Tommy, probably. Quadrophenia is really great but I just like Tommy more for some reason.
and I haven't seen the Quadrophenia movie so I can't have an opinion on that.

As far as Album, it would definatley be Quadrophenia, after all my favorite song, Love Reign O'er Me, Tommy was good, I love pinball wizard and fiddle about, but it just had to many fillers, and Quadrophenia had more songs I like than Tommy did.
I have seen Tommy and it was a little strange, but I still love it none the less, and sadly I still have not seen Quadrophenia.

Unfortunately I have yet to see either movie (try as I might I cannot find them anywhere), however musically I prefer Quadrophenia. Tommy was amazing to be sure, and a few of my all time favorite songs are indeed on there, however Quadrophenia is much more consistent, and equaly amazing. Plus of the two stories I prefer Quadrophenia's to Tommy's....

Well I was introduced to The Who from watching Tommy so that will always sort of by my favorite, but I'm recently obsessed with Quadrophenia haha. Both great albums.

Wow, I don't even know how I'd react to the Tommy movie if it was my first introduction to The Who.. I'd either be completely in love or completely weirded out. xd

Well, Quadrophenia has Love, Reign O'er Me (my favorite Who song), but if you want to think about the concepts of both albums, Tommy pulls it off better.
