I am officially a mother, (well.. not technically. More like a caretaker.) of a beautiful Buttercat! (That also is a little stretched.. I'm not even sure what Diana looks like yet!) I plan to keep a journal, documenting her life and interactions with others.

Today is March 19th, 2007. I should have started this the day she came into my loving arms, but alas.. I was too caught up in the moment. In those 3 days I've had her though.. the activity in the egg has greatly increased. There much movement now.. and I feel she shall hatch any day.

I shall keep you posted about Diana's life. Even if only checking in every now and then.

She hatched! I regret that while it happened I was sleeping, the sounds of her first cries awoke me. I immediatly put her in my arms to quiet her. She's so small, so precious. She's sleeping right now as we speak, and I imagine she'll be sleeping for many days to come. I have some milk to give her, but in about a week or so I might try giving her some fruit.

And she loves her little bed by the way.. =)
