Well, I've been heavily attracted to the sport, and I was wondering whether anyone would be interested reading about it? I mean, I know that it'll definitely need some editing, and if someone who was familiar with the game, and the terms, and was an experienced writer (Sounds like I'm asking for alot 8D)), could they just post on this thread?
Thanks,

Oh, ya mean 'The Beautiful Game', football (that's what we Brits call it). I suppose I know a thing or two. I can lend a hand.
If you're gunna post put it in Works in Progress.

I love soccer. I don't know a ton of technical stuff, but one of my friends has been playing all her life. I can help by asking her about technical stuff if you need it. I think It's a great idea.
(Football is a better name for soccer because in soccer you use your feet all the time (except for throw ins or when you're the goalie. In football, you use your hands all the time. Soccer has a nicer ring to it . . . but maybe that's just because I hate American football.)

I thought you meant Football (UK) used their hands all the time but then I realised you meant American football, or Rugby, as the rest of the world likes to call it. (Just teasing whee )

Football has always been the name for 'soccer'. Soccer for me sounds hideous--I prefer football, or futbol, or 'the beautiful game' x]
