I got to see 300 on Saturday, that movie was awesome, I highly reccomend it biggrin

300 was very cool; I saw Dead Silence last week and enjoyed that even more, so cz-cz-czech it out! ;D

I "could" see 300 again, I didn't make the IMAX screening but in the couple of coming weeks I want to see Blades of Steel and TMNT xd How is Dead Silence? What's the plot? surprised

Well I've seen quite a few lately. I saw the fantastic 4 on monday. Cool! I also saw the amitville horror at about the same time (I can't remember if it was on tuesday or monday) and I also saw Hellboy last week. I must say that out of all the horror flicks I've seen, the amitville one was the only one that has left me with a scary feeling afterwards. The ring did almost as good a job when I saw it btw...
Hellboy was rather good as well. 3nodding
So, Dead Silence, huh? That kinda sounds like Resident Evil, he-he.

I was gonna say that in the general discussion board, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. TMNT, It'd have to be free for me to see it. I am a little curious but not $11.00 curious. Saving moo-lah for Aqua Teen I am. I might go see 300 this sunday at IMAX depending. I wasn't going to but my friend invited me and told me it was at least a cool action flik.

I'm not sure if that 300 movie is gonne be good but I'm not sure I'm gonna go see it. I'd love to go see spiderman 3 though. And guess what? I just saw "Sky High" on sunday. It was pretty good. I loved seeing Kelly Preston as a super hot flying woman. 3nodding She's cool!

300 in IMAX = OHMYGODYES I've been rewatching Horatio Hornblower for great justice. I need to get around to watching Escape from LA (SNAAAAAKE) and a couple other movies I've had laying around for a while. Edit: hypnocrown I'm not sure if that 300 movie is gonne be good but I'm not sure I'm gonna go see it. Go see it. It is really as good as everyone says it is. Edit again: Hellboy. heart If you liked the film, read the comics. They're 10x more amusing.

Really Herr Astro? Well Since I'm not much into going to theaters I doubt I'll be able to see that 300 one. I much rather go see Spiderman 3. he-he mrgreen
Gee, it's too bad we don't get comics around here. I sure as "hell" have not seen any US comics around at all!
Hmm, PotC 3 sounds good too but I'm still not changing my mind about seeing Spidey 3 instead.

I finally saw 300 on sunday. I thought that movie totally sucked. For something that was supposed to be total eye candy I was not impressed. I'll take my Matrix and Advent Children anyday rolleyes And naturally, as to be expected from eye candy action, everything else totally sucked too. I assume the people that enjoyed it, did so for the naked spartans (male and female). That was such an awkward movie to see in theatres, and to top it all off, they didn't let me buy a slushie mad Worst movie going experience ever! (OK, not worst ever, but bad!)
The one nice thing I have to say about it is the ending. With the eye-patch dude and his speech. The king either couldn't deliver properly or he was just written badly.

You can get Slushies in your theatre? o_O That sounds pretty f-ing cool. There's one theatre that can let me buy beer but has to be drank in a "waiting area" cant be brought in with me while I watch a movie, which sucks cause I want to watch TMNT AND drink beer .-_.-

Actually, the naked Spartans were just an added bonus. I'd have liked it regardless.
The King was Gerard Butler. Mystery solved. whee The only thing I'll ever remember him as is the utterly terrible Dracula in Dracula 2000.
I do like his accent though.
David Wenham, however is good for speeches. (Except I can't think of him as anyone other than the guy he played with a tinfoil hat in Van Helsing.)

So that 300 wasn't good? Hmm, Well.. I wasn't planning on seeing it anyway. I hope Spidey 3 turns out better than the previous one.
