So, what's your favorite type of music?
What bands do you like?

I like rock and metal.
I deeply enjoy power metal the most. Nightwish, Dragonforce, and Kamelot ftw.
But I like all kinds of rock, really. From 80's and 90's to video game music. 3nodding

Dragonforce is amazing!!
I mostly listen to rock, metal, industrial, electronica, electro, with some dance and techno. Oh, and things like musical soundtracks and classical/orchestral music. I also forgot Jrock and Jpop.
It's a pretty wide range.
I hate country and opera though. I'm also not a big fan of pop or hip hop/rap/r&b and all that. I can stand a little and sometimes one song will catch my attention, but it isn't my first choice.

And yes, Dragonforce is VERY amazing, even though the songs sound the same and the singing blows most of the time. xd

I like pretty much everything except country and rap. There are a few songs from those genres that I can tolerate, but not many. Usually, I go through moods with my music. "Hmm, I feel j-pop today." or something like that. Recently, I've discovered AFI, Placebo, Within Temptation, and some other random songs from various anime. heart

I'm a metal head to the end. I listen to lots o death metal, but my library of music goes from like Baetoven to Slipknot and from Distrurbed back to Dj Caffine. Lol os I listen to just about everything accept country

I was addicted so fast. A lot of band are like that though. Celldweller is a great band but a lot of their songs sound the same.

Hmm. Samply music, synthpoppy music, metal, electronica, some rock but not too much pwease.
Placebo, Nine Inch Nails, Garbage, interpol, Dresden Dolls, Muse, Afi... more but I can never think of.

Rascal Flatts. Maroon 5. Nine Inch Nails. Avril Lavigne. Josh Turner. 3 Doors Down. Rob Zombie. Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy). Rammstein. Wurpscut. Disturbed. Evanesence. Vertical Horizon. Basically, I enjoy anything from metal, to country, to pop art, to Electronica/Dance.

well I mostly like rock and metal. I'm a head banger at heart. Though I do listen some other stuff a well. My favourit band right now is Eisley. I love them to death. My favourit somg of theirs is Brigthly Wound. It's so good.

I like all music except rap... and Techno is my most favorite. for bands I like GreenDay, Evanescence, Dropkick Murphys, Hinder, and Fall Out Boy.

I'm too busy being really upset about losing all my CDs (except for my one Depeche Mode CD that was in my CD player) on my flight to Seattle. ;-;

As for me, there's nothing I love more than a good rousing bluegrass song! ;DDD
xd Kidding, kidding. I like... a lot of things, but cannot STAND country. o.o
Seconding the Within Temptation/Birthday Massacre/NIGHTWISHHOMFG heart heart: heart /:wumpscut:/Dresden Dolls/ Muse/AFI/Collide/Malice Mizer love. xd (Homfg, this guild has... like, THE BEST musical taste. xD<3 )
I'm also a really big fan of The Cruxshadows (they have a song with my name as the title. And my name is weird. In addition to being extremely catchy and danceable, how much more awesome can you get!?), Sirenia/Tristania (pre-Mort's leaving), They Might Be Giants, Depeche Mode, Ayreon, and my two personal, underrated loves, Rosin Coven and ThouShaltNot.
Rosin Coven is really awesome and lounge/jazz-y, while ThouShaltNot is a fabulous PA-based (I believe?) industrial group.
Most anything industrial/electronica/rock-ish is go with me.
I'm also a HUGE musical geek, but we'll discuss that later. xd

I have to laugh at myself.
For the last day and a half I've listened to nothing but Viking/Folk Metal, Power Metal, and the voices in my head.
I'm kidding..about the voices in my head.
There's this band, Ensiferum. If you guys think you can handle it, it's a Viking Metal group. Download some if you can. They're pretty cool..they took a few hours to grow on me but I like them a lot now.
My girlfriend's ears would absolutely gush blood all over the floor. She hates the way Power Metal groups sing. xD I don't necessarily blame her though.
