As a 'well-known' member of this fandom (and others as well), I've seen lots of NaruSaku bashing. Anti NaruSaku clubs, anti NaruSaku AMV (ha! Only one! >D), and just plain NaruSaku bashing. Ya know what I mean?
I've heard NaruHina/SasuSaku fans say: THE NARUSAKU FANDOM IS ALL TARDS! They think their pair is canon and they won't accept anything else!
Weird. I don't agree. I think the SasuSaku fandom is the most stubborn. The NaruHina fandom is pretty okay, sometimes they can be harsh, I've had experience, but...That's because I mess with them.XD
All fandoms want their pair to be canon, you can't deny that. But it's sad, because the largest fandoms have the most tards, which leads them to having less respect.
NaruHina, SasuSaku, and NaruSaku are the three main pairings that you don't have to think about too much to like. There're romantic feelings obvious for each pair, so they're automatically paired up.
Yet, NaruSaku is liked less. Truthfully, I don't get it. It's probably because there are way more Hinata fans then Sakura fans, and most of the NaruHina fans want Naruto to notice Hinata, who they think was always there for Naruto. Was she? I think she had more of a stalker thing going down then a taking care of. At the beginning, Naruto thought she was 'a weird, shy girl.' He didn't know anything about her. Yet, Hinata admired him and seemed to know about his suffering.
In other words, Hinata was not always there. She was, but not in the sense people believe. She didn't protect him, and she didn't talk to him or make him feel better. She watched from afar, like everyone else. Her only difference was she cared. She just didn't know how to show it.
SasuSaku is for the Sakura fans. Most of them believe that Sasuke will someday fall in love with Sakura and realize how great she is, yet, I think Sasuke's going to die or end up with Ino. 0o Don't both asking about SasuIno, but yes, he'll probably die. (Along with Itachi. i.i)
He's already given up on emotions, he's not about to obtain a need for romance after all of those years without falling in love. Love startles him, it scares him. Anyways, the SasuSaku fandom hates the NaruSaku fandom because they think that it would 'leave Sasuke out', while SasuSaku would give Naruto the left-overs. Hinata.

There was one NaruHina-er who was like
it said in the data book that the only reason for Hinata to love naruto was because of his dtermination or something. and that hinata has kindness because of the thougt of naruto in her mind. (databook)
Woah, slow down. It doesn't say that Hinata loves Naruto, is says the reason she would love him is because of his determination or whatever is said. And the kindness? Hinata was always an excepting person. What about the three years of being gone? Did she suddenly stop being kind? No. Even withought Naruto she was fine. hinata is a kind person because she knows how it feels to be alone, she doesn't want people to feel what she felt when she was younger. Naruto has showed Hinata courage and kindness, that doesn't mean she nessaraily lives off of it. She gives off her own mojo.

I know! So many NarutoxHinata and SasukexSakura fans bash NarutoxSakura...
Yeah, you're right. There are quite alot more Hinata fans than Sakura.
The main reason People bash NaruxSaku is because:
1. Sakura is a b***h. (Usually Hinata fans, Sakura bashers)
2. Sakura always hits and is mean to Naruto.
3. Sakura is just using Naruto as a replacement, since Sasuke is gone.
Usually, it's the last 2 that get to me. Sakura only hits Naruto in the first few episodes. 30 or so, possibly.
And Sakura does NOT use him as a replacement. How does realizing one's feelings for another 'replacement'?
Also, maybe it's becasue Hinata's feelings for Naruto and Sakura's feelings for Sasuke are very clear. Hinata blushes in front of Naruto all the time, not to mention stalking and thinking about him most of the series. And the fillers. The countless NarutoxHinata fillers.
Sakura even stated that she loves Sasuke, and is always concerned for him the whole series as well, always asking him to dates, hugging him, or asking him if he's ok.
Naruto's feelings aren't as well defined. In the beginning, he had a crush on Sakura, but that was it. Later, he supposedly 'didn't show any feelings' in the series. Romance isn't always about blushing and hugging. Naruto saves Sakura countless number of times, and puts her happiness over his. But many just see that as 'sibling relationship', which irritates me...D:

I hate those Sakura excuses. Especially when people call her a whore or a slut. It's the fans, dammit! we're the ones pairing her with every freaking character.XD
You know it's true, when Sakura hits Naruto, she's just showing she loves him!
And the replacement thing? Hell no. >> Sakura has always loved Naruto, she just never really saw him as much. Naruto is nothing like Sasuke (personality wise?), so I think she actually sees him in a completely different light then Sasuke. Her feelings are WAY different.

I get tired of the who-should-be-with-who debate because in the end it doesn't really matter. They're all trained to be fighters, and any relationship any of them had would be difficult and cumbersome.
I like NaruSaku because it'd be sweet, but I'm not rooting for it to happen. If it does, amazing, if not, oh well.
(And if everyone had this viewpoint, there'd be far less arguing.)

Wow. You people make some valid points...
But, as a SasuSaku supporter myself [yes, you heard me right], I believe the main reason was that other fandoms aren't as open-minded as we'd like. And so the bashing/ranting/proving a point tends to be more harsh than they realize, and that's when people start retaliating.
But, here's a positive scene on my part : Even though I'm a strong SasuSaku supporter, I believe, no matter how hidden or little it is, Sakura carries around some kind of feelings for Natuto, but she probably doesn't want to admit it to herself.

Lol, as a SasuSaku supporter myself, I'd say Sakura doesn't know HOW to tell Naruto how she feels, whether it's romantic or not. Especially since they both think of bringing Sasuke back before a relationship.
I think the main reason that ALL of the fandoms are bashed because of a certain character.
From what I've seen, most of the former-Sasuke lovers turned anti when Sasuke left Sakura on a bench for power. What Sasuke doesn't know though, is that strength comes from protecting people he cares for.
Naruto is often hated because of his cheery attitude and that he's, and I quote, "not as hot as sasuke". Not true.
Sakura is often looked at as a slut because people like SasuIno and think she's getting in the way, or that she loves Sasuke but two other boys love her. Or, they want their made-ups to have Sasuke all the themselves so they kill off the thing they hate most: Sakura.
All of these are stupid reasons, yes? thought I WAS frustrated at Sasuke for hurting Sakura. I think he did it for her sake though...
... I'm done. :3

It was even noticed by the 5th hokage.... though naruto doesnt crush over sakura anymore like he used to.. I think his feelings are a bit more mature than just a simple crush ^^
I think one of the main reasons why narusaku is bashed so much by naruhina fans is because sakura was seen as someone weak, who just got in the way. She obsessed over sasuke when she should of been focusing on becoming a better ninja.. but now she's completely changed.. and she's won my heart over.

People just expect that the only way she can be useful is if she has a kick a** move that'll beat all the enemies. =/ And really, people shouldn't expect too much. She's a pre-teen who is head over heels in love! Can anyone expect her to be a serious, smart, powerful, mature woman? NO.

Idiots need something to complain about, and sorry to say... NaruSaku is a pretty easy mark, because it's not officially Canon. Also they only antagonize fans who like the.. NaruSaku pairing for example to get a reaction from us. They see that their bad mouthing of the couple's possibilities aggravates us so they spew more of their crap.... simply put, if we ignore them they will go away.

wow, whenever i go on gaia everyones bashing pairings and stuff, whenever i go on deviantart.com everyones like, i'm a naruhina worshipper but i like this narusaku pic a lot, and almost everyone respects each other, weird, of course people still argue and stuff but most of what ive seen, deviantart people are actually nice......wow..... neutral
