The Coup d'etat of Senegal Xenos sat at his desk brooding, bottle in hand and papers under his gaze. Transfixed upon them, he snapped to attention by the distinct ringing of the phone upon his desk. He cleared his throat and picked up the phone, perkily answering, "Hello. This is Colonel Mortium of the Black Templars." After a moment or two of listening, a smile began to work its way across his face. "Of course, I understand. We will be there as soon as time permits. Good day." With that, he hung up the phone and leaned back in his chair, oddly relaxed. After a slight chuckle, he sprung up from his chair and exitted his door. + TWO DAYS LATER... + Xenos stepped from the black helicopter onto the rooftop, the torrents of wind from its blades fluttering his clothes and his hair. He grinned and moved on, rifle swaying in his hands. Turning back, he commanded to the others on the helicopter, "Unload everything! I want a base of operations set up as soon as it can be done!" + LATER... + The Colonel stood before his men (and women) in their new makeshift barracks, rifle slung over his right shoulder. He spoke unto them, "I know that you all have never gotten a chance to work together, to fight together, to have any real reason to trust one another. Here is your time. Every single one of you has military or paramilitary experience, and I believe every single one of you has killed before. You must have trust and faith in each other this day or you won't live to see tomorrow." He sighed, and then continued. "Anderson here will be mission lead, as that I believe he has the most experience in the past leading military forces. I want you all to head west out of Dakar and scout out any potential rebel cells. If you find them, destroy them. Simple enough?" He looks over them before adding one last thing. "I have business to take care of. If you need me, I have my radio. Good luck out there." That said, he turned around and left out the door.

Anderson got a little more attentive when his name came up. He snapped up attention and nodded giving a slight salute. After the departure of the commanding officer, Kyle realized that now he was the one barking orders. He sighed and threw his gun off to the side, "Let's get a base up shall we?" He walked up to the helicopter with the rotors still running and started tossing gear out. He pointed at Landry and Seamus, "You guys, start setting all this s**t up." He picked up another bag and tossed it, " Everyone else unload and set up when the choppers clear. Lets start organizing set up a Ammo room, Supplies room, etc. Move it. I want intel 5 minutes ago." He continued unloading.

He continued unloading. Landry hopped out of the helicopter with his usual Duffel bag of "Goodies". When Anderson gave him the orders, he responded swiftly, and with a salute, Sir yes Sir. I will get this stuff set up ASAP. Let's Hustle! He wasn't sure even himself, if that was meant for everyone around, or just him and Seamus, but he knew it worked on him at least. He ran back to the chopper after dropping off his bag, and grabbed two boxes of ammo and started bringing them out, placing them next to a wall, starting a stack. He returned to the chopper and removed two more, and built the stack, with the help of the others, and brought it up to a good height, making a nice mountain effect of ammo. Next was food and nutrition. He grabbed the crates of MRE's and brought them out, and then the crates of water, canteens, and K-Rations, and placed them on the ground nexxt to the ammo, just getting everything set-up and letting the chopper get on its way or whatever.

Seamus started helping Landry with the equipment after throwing a smart salute. He decided to check around the area from the top of the compound. Looking around, he saw the city around them, some areas were smoking and the occasional shot cracked. He knew that sound. You didn't last long in this line of work without learning what a Dragunov sounded like. Feckin' snipers Seamus returned to Anderson and threw a salute, "Sir, it looks like the area around us is quiet, but I suspect that there may be sniper activity within the city. Should we send out a recon patrol?"

Fina had moved out of the helicopter with her weapons strapped across her body like usual. It didn't matter if anyone saw her like this, they were Technically already on the battlefield, and it meant less stuff to put in her bag, though she did have things to put there. Standing in line with the others, she listened to the orders given by Xenos, and then turned to look at Kyle as he gave out the orders. She set her bag down on the ground, instead of just dropping it, then moved to the chopper to help grabbing boxes of ammunition and set them down next to Landry's stack. She went about the same order as Landry as things went along until they were completely unloaded, though she was moving a bit slower. She wasn't as physically strong as the others... Not meaning she was necessarily weak, just not as strong.
She heard Seamus' report as he spoke to Anderson and waited for the response. If there were a recon team, she really didn't care if she was in it, but it would be more her style as opposed to the manual labor of setting up the base. Still, she did think that they should set up the base first.

Carlos hopped off the chopper, landing on both feet and slightly bending at the knees as the weight of his gear pushed down on him. When he straightened back out, he walked a few paces until he was inline with the other Templars. He listened as the Colonel gave orders and issued Anderson as the team leader.
With a small salute to Anderson's orders, Carlos tossed his bag to the side and quickly moved to the chopper and started to unload equipment. The ammo came first and was stacked together in a small ammo pile. Afterwards, Carlos started on the technical equipment which would be placed within the HQ tent. This comprised of computers, radios, and other electrical equipment which would leave everyone up to date with current affairs, both now before battle starts and afterwards when everyone's in the fray of bullet fire.

Anderson threw a few more boxes on the ground and took a quick look around seeing the Templars working swiftly. He continued taking off whatever was in front of him which happened to be the ammo. He was inturrupted by Seamus. He gave a quick salute back not really caring giving the fact they were, technically, in a combat situation and formalities just wasted time. He took a glance around, "Negative, soldier. Not until we have COMS up. He hesitated saying, "Umm..." while looking around until he found him, "Sanchez, double time with COMS, we have a possible hot zone. Landry, Seamus abort rations and gets COMS, radar, and tech up first. We need to see what we're up against. Make sure you geta a radio uplink with HQ. Once done, report back. Xanth, just help me unload the chopper I don't want another Somali incidant." Kyle was referring to when a Ranger team went to Somalia and two Black hawks were shot down. He wanted the bird cleared, "Just get everything off so this ain't just sittin' here." He started quicking his pace.

Fina continued to wait, looking to Anderson for orders. As he gave them out, she stayed still, until he got to her. Then she moved a bit faster than she had before, merely grabbing things from the chopper and setting them on the ground, then moving back up and grabbing more things. She would continue to do this until they were both done, and the chopper was unloaded. It would be time to move everything into order soon, so she'd just wait for more orders about where to put what...

Seamus ran over to Landry, 'Help me with this, I have NO idea what this thing is...', He was looking at a new communications set with a satellite link up. He was more familiar with old radio sets. They were all that were available to the SSF. Just highlighting how new the outfit was. He tried to look through the manual but got as far as the red wire. 'Feckin' piece o' tech...', giving up, he saw something that he'd been praying for: an old marines radio set with a large whip aerial and even dials. 'Tell yeh what Landry, you deal with this, I'll deal with the old equipment' without waiting for a reply, he set about setting up the radio.

Anderson, with Fina's help, removed everything from the deck of the helicopter. He shut the door, banged on it twice and walked over near the cockpit. Anderson spun hi finger in the air telling the piolit could take off. The pilot nodded and gave a salute. Anderson returned the gesture, once again half-assed and the pilot lifted off taking a few bullets in the body but doing no permentant damage. He dragged items closer to the roof access door and yelled down, "How are things lookin' down there? We almost done?" He looked over at Fina, "Let's go help 'em shall we?" He smiled and picked up a few crates of rations and ammo and ran down the steps.
Upon reaching the floor, he put the crates down putting the food with the food and the ammo with the ammo and started sorting the ammo by caliber.

Hayden hopped down from the helicopter and set his combat pack down next to the helipad, keeping a careful eye on it. It held the only things that would keep Hayden alive in the days to come. In the mean time however, there was much to be done.
Hayden dashed to the helicopter, and with his considerable strength, he set about unloading some of the heavier equipment, namely, a satellite dish, numerous crates of ammo, and a large olive drab duffel bag containing various provisions. He did so stopping at intervals all the while to drink from his canteen and conserve his energy, because he knew for a fact he'd have trouble refilling it anywhere else.
As he mindlessly went about hauling the equipment, he went to whisk sweat away from his forehead, and it was at that moment he realized that he wasn't wearing his gas mask, and in a zone as dangerous as Senegal he wouldn't go anywhere without it. Reacting to an old nervous habit, he flew into a silent frenzy, furiously digging through his pack until he could recover it. He did, and he sighed a breath of relief as he placed it over the scarred and somewhat mottled skin of his face.
He carried on.

Fina looked from Kyle to hayden as hayden went about retrieving his gas mask and setting it on. Before watching him finish, she grabbed a crate of rations and a crate of ammo and followed Kyle until they had reached the floor, setting the things down, then she started back up, grabbed some more crates and went back down. She set about setting things down where Kyle had with certain things, then waited for more orders as she'd help Kyle to sort the ammo by calliber.

Carlos lay another crate with the COMS equipment down while Seamus looked confused about it. He gave a soft smile as he opened the box. As he opened up the crate he heard Seamus explain he'd rather mess with the older tech. In a couple minutes the crate was empty and a small box lay on the ground with a mess of wires. "Just a couple more crates," he said to Landry. After replacing the lid on the crate, Carlos moved towards the snaking wires and the radio. He started to connect wires while waiting for the rest of the equipment.

Once they were sorted Kyle returned the lids and stacked the crates in a corner of the room against the wall. He jogged back up the steps and opened up a crate. He tossed the crate over behind the roof access door and set up a satillite dish on the small building which only served to sheild the steps heading inside the building from erosion. He then grabbed a few more. Just as he turned he heard a whistle go by his ear and then soon another. He leaped towards the door and fell down the steps getting real banged up in the process. The crates, which were sealed tightly, didn't open but they still hurt on the way down. Luckily, they were the last of the crates all for one, just a crate of ammo.
He silently and breifly thanked God that he chose the crate of COMS and radar equipment as one of the few remaining. He stumbled up and kicked the food crate into the room, sliding across the floor. He picked up the COMS crate and ran into the room, "Yo. Get COMS up NOW. I wanna establish contact with HQ to confirm our insertion and that sniper, depending on where he is, might be able to take out that dish. If HQ doesn't here from us, who knows what they'll do. Get on that, pronto." He didn't mean to sound like an a** but time was of the essence. He turned his head, "Fina, Hayden, everyone else, come help Sanchez." He fiddled with some wires and got them plugged in. He saw his scratched up face from his dull reflection from the metal plating on the equipment.
