The up-coming My Chemical Romance concert is coming to Houston,
Yes!
Right?
No.
I wanted to go see them,
But it turns out I can't afford the tickets.
Like,
The day I find this out,
My best friend announces he can go because his friend GAVE him a ticket!
And then his little friend,
Who only knows FOUR of their songs,
Also gets a ticket.
Like,
Good seats,
Too.

Today,
When I was sitting in class,
Four days before my birthday,
Btw,
Still ticket-less,
My friend's next to me all like
"24 days till the concert!
I can't believe I get to go!!
Its going to be SO fun!"
I just told him to shut up,
But he keeps on acting like I'm supposed to be happy for him.

I can't stand this!
I wanted to go so much more than he did...
I even worked for all A's on my report card so my parents would even CONCIDER buying me tickets.
Alas,
The tickets are still too much.
No matter how many A's I get,
[[ SEVEN OF THEM D< ]]
I'm not getting those tickets.
Though I keep on telling myself my parents might just be trying to keep it a surprise for my birthday,
I doubt it...
Its really just a thought so I don't get too depressed over this all.

I don't quite know what I want for this one.
Comfort maybe?
Some way to get my friend to SHUT UP?
Just something.

Well I don't know what the pain is like to not attend a musical assemble, but maybe I can offer you a tactic I often use around people when things just aren't as "sunny" as they can be. When people are tormenting you, it's easy to give in, this I've learned. However, to prevent misery from engulfing, i had to find a way to escape them, without running. So, my solution was to "erase" them, it is different from standard, but it works! All you need is a few calming breaths and your imagination, which everyone has, otherwise they wouldn't be driven to learn..discover new things! Don'tlet people drag you down, even if it's your best friend, they will understand you just aren't up to things =) Do you have a place, you know, one where you've always dreamed of going? It's that one special realm within you that no one else has the key to, it is you sanctuary... Take yourself there and find comfort in your self-created haven. Only erase the ones who you need to, and return at will, you might be surprised how comforting it can be just to "re-draw" the settings. Good luck and I hope things improve for you, remember the world doesn't suddenly "stop on a dime", not only people can be "erased and re-drawn".

Awh. -Hugs- Either way, a grade can't by anything. But, I think it's wrong for your friend to be putting the ticket in your face like that. Does he know the circumstances? Why you can't go?

I've never really been to a concert.. alone, [ I wanted to go to that Three Days Grace, Nickleback, and Breaking Bens concert but it was sold out. ] Just, maybe try saving up any little but of cash you recieve.

And maybe you can go to the next concert! <33;

Borrow money; that's all I can tell you. Also, since it's such a short time away, you probally won't be able to go, 'cause they're probally sold out. >__<+

If you actually wanna' see a concert, you gotta' get the tickets RIGHT when they hit the box-office. Big bands like that sell out in minutes (literally).

Uh.
A little concerned that I've been underestimated here...
Thought you guys knew me well enough to understand that I know my facts before I complain.
oO;

He KNOWS I can't afford those tickets.
Believe me,
He knows.
And I TRIED for those tickets the second they come out...
But my mom kept on having to
"Think it over".
Plus,
I can't borrow money from people.
It dosn't work out.

Know what else I figured out?
My step brother,
Pierce,
Got himself tickets.
And he knows I can't get them,
But STILL,
He dosn't even offer me one.
I can PAY for one.
Its just paying for my parents tickets...
Because SOMEONE has to go with me.
