pirate So the topic that won the RP poll was Pirates with if I recall correctly 75%. Sorry to those out there who wanted the anime RP. If you have any suggestions for topics please don't hesitate to send them to me!! smile pirate

"ARR!" Scarlet looks out across the ocean from her ship, the Maria. As the golden sun sank into the far horizon and the warm southern breeze blew across the bough, the evening was perfect! She climbed into the crow's nest to get a better look when she suddenly noticed another ship on the horizon. She called down to the first mate, "OI! Merchant ship, 36 degrees starboard! Prepare for battle!" An uproar of excitement spread across the crew as they prepare for yet another raid. "We be doing well this week, Cap'n!" The first mate announced, "This be the fourth raid this week!"

"Oi! Captain! What's with all the excitment?" Jane yells as she climbs up to the Crow's Nest. "Ah, we got ourselves another merchant ship. Wonder who the sorry bloke is this time!" She glances at Scarlet. "Shall we attack head on, or do a slient raid?" She asks as she pulled out her dagger and begins to clean it with a rag.

"A silent raid would mean we have to track 'er 'til it gets dark! No! I wanna SEE the fear in their eyes! We'll attack head on!" Scarlet glides back down to main deck "LOAD THE GUNS! Let's scare 'em a bit first! Then, when they're in a panic, we take 'em!"

Jane looks at the captain. 'She's always so gun-ho about everything.' She shakes her head as she proceeds down to the main deck. "You heard the captain! Hop to it mates!" She yells as she grabs a barrel or gunpowder and rolls it towards the cannons." Once the cannon was loaded, Jane stops and looks through a pair of binoculars. "Well, well, well...what do we have here?" She turns towards Scarlet. "Apparaently the leader is weak looking, shall we take prisoners, or shall we let them drown in Davy Jones' Locker?"

Scarlet looks down "Damn! I was hopin' fer a bit of a challenge this time! Never any fun! Kill the weak, spare the decent fighters! See if we can't convince 'em to join the crew!", Scarlet smiles then looks gravely serious, "Oh, and if we come across any rum, this time, be sure not to SMASH it this time!"

Johnny was swabbing the deck when one of the men started yelling "PIRATES!! PIRATES OFF THE PORTSIDE!!!" "We be prepaired, gents! Don't worry! Stand your ground! We gots us our secret weapon! Them pirates'll wish they never messed with the likes of US!" The captain announced in confidence. None the less Johnny reached for his blade as the first crack of cannon fire went off. He wasn't sure who fired on whom until the explosion of wood knocked him back a few feet. He heard the cackling laughs of the pirates as he came to his feet. Although he was nealy 20, he was not nearly as tall or built as the other sailors, he looked no more than 13 or 14. But with a blade, he was equal to any of his barrel-chested crew-mates. He brased himself and took a battle stance as the priates began to board.

"Aye Captain! We'll remeber that rum bottles are NOT weapons!" Jane bows in a mockery salute. Jane and Scarlet have been friends since they were kids, Scarlet always dreamed of being a pirate. One day her dearest granddaddy kicked the bucket and Scarlet inherited the Maria. Since then they've been travelling the seas in search of booty. Jane was her eyes and ears on land, she very rarely came on board but she became sick of England's politics and eventually caught up with her friend. "Remeber, try to keep it low profile this time, the King's guards are still after you." Jane was a medium build but with larger "assets", this called for mockery from some of the crew memebers. She has long red hair that was usually in a pony tail. The sound of the artillery hitting the opposing ship was head. "Captain, a direct hit! Get ready to board!" she yelled as she grabbed a sword.

"Aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh" went the cliche pirate line as Clyde prepared to board the ship. "Hehe, out of the way balloon chest, your being slow!" Clyde yelled as he passed Jane. This usually happened. Clyde was the one who mostly made fun of Janes "assests".

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say balloon chest..." Clyde said as he went to go retrieve the boarding docks. Clyde was a young man of average build and short black hair. He's a recent member to Scarlets crew on the Maria and he hasnt really made a place for himself on the ship yet. "Now we're ready to go!" The boarding docks had been thrown down and crew members had begun to cross...

"JANE!... And... NEW GUY!! SAVE YOUR RAGE FOR THE BATTLE!!!" Scarlet yelled at Jane and Clyde pulling out her cutlass. Scarlet was very tall for a girl. At 6'2 she often used her height to intimidate others into getting what she wants. As a young girl, she was very feninine. But when she took over the Maria, she traded in her frilly dresses for trousers and men's shirts, tall leather boots and big hats, which she often tucked her long brown hair into. Much of her wardrobe was decided by who she raded. But nothing made her happier than silk and velvet overcoats and large poofy hats with a big feather. The women's clothing, when it was plundered, (Which wasn't very often) she either gave to Jane, or sold. Scarlet was also not as well endowed as Jane. So she often was mistaken for a boy until one got a good look at her face. Scarlet also had a taste for the dramatic. If it happened in the books, she had to be it! The fact that she was female often gave her problems in this. She often got "It's bad enough luck to have a woman on board! Never mind a woman for a captain!" This only convinced her more to prove she could do it! Although it greatly limited her crew selection.
Scarlet sneered as the boarding dock went up and the merchant ship's crew looked scattered and paniced. "This'll be easy!" Scarlet thought as some of her crew boarded ahead of her.

Jane unseathed her rapier. She wasn't a very strong girl, but she was quick and nimble. "Captain look ahead!" She yelled as she pointed to Johnny. "That shrimps got nothing on me, I'll handle him go for the leader!" She quickly sprinted towards the man, rapier drawn. "Nice cargo ye go here." She sneeres as she goes on the offensive.

As Scarlet, Jane, and the rest of the crew were battling it out, Clyde snuck below deck to see what trasure he could find. At the end of the hall there was a door with many locks. "This must be it..." Clyde exclaimed as he began to pick the locks with his cutlass. Being alone on the streets on England taught you a lot of things, picking locks was one of them. "Got it.." Clyde looked inside to see their food storage. "Damn, wrong door..." he turned around to see the biggest sailor he had ever seen. "Well...crap..."

Johnny notices a woman with a particularly large rack charging him. "Whoa! Jugs!" He mumbles, and engages the girl. He held back at first, he had no interest in killing a woman. But he soon came to realize she had skill! She was quick and agressive in her style and technique. Johnny quickly found himself on the defensive rather than the offensive. This wasn't a position he was used to having. When he battled, he usually quickly gained the upper hand. But this girl was gaining on him! Johnny drew back a little to get some space between them. Instead of going for vital blows, his objective was to disarm her, rather than kill her. But she was quickly in his face again. "Wow! Up front and to the point! You're my kind of girl!", He announced to his adversary, "Nice rack too!"
