I haven't used it for headaches, but then I rarely ever get headaches so I wouldn't have much cause to try that use. Green tea has a very Earthy feel to me so I find it good for grounding or calming myself down. In that, it might actually work well for some of the headaches I do get... the ones caused by me being a bit too worked up over something.

i wish i liked green tea more sad

i suppose any caffeine free liquid is good for headaches, often a headache is caused by you being dehydrated, did you realise that? drinking a big load of water will often shift it within 20 minutes.

make sure the water isn't too cold though, that would only make matters worse gonk

I'm not fond of green tea, but I like it well enough when it's iced with lemon.

I know it's good for preventing a lot of illness, and it's got cancer-helping properties and rumours about it, but I don't really know.

..... Research time! XD

I think green tea has caffeine in it.

Also, uses for leftover tea leaves: Put them on your eyes. ^_^ Hooray, tannins to tone the skin around the eyes!

Peppermint usually helps me with my headaches. Especially any really potent peppermint gum. So long as I can smell it while I'm chewing it and so long as it lasts a while it helps me out. Worth a try I'd say.

Green tea, no matter which way I have it, has never helped me with my headaches and migraines in any way.
