So hear it is:

That riddle does not make sense.
What gets wetter as IT dries?
Should be: as YOU dry.
It cant dry while it gets wetter.

IT is DRYING you.
the context of the word dry was not specified. A blow drier dries your hair, the towel is drying but what it is drying isnt specified.

I can think of two ways to answer that, depending on what kind of relative you mean. . . so I'll tell you both!
Either a shark, because mothers will eat babies that aren't fast enough, which would be taking it kinda literally.
Or, an anteater, get it, ant=aunt. sweatdrop

thats got to be one of the oldest riddles ever. The sphinx said it in a story....in what story my small mind forgets

I love this riddle....took me an hour and a half to figure it out and the anwer was right there
